Hello. I have just acquired this TV and can't view SBS On Demand. According to the manual I can't install any additional apps, but I can open SBS On Demand from the red button ribbon that appears on the bottom of the screen. Problem is that only a limited number of shows are available. Also, I'm not prompted to login to my SBS account - how do I get around this? Thanks

Hi John, Thanks for providing the model number. On the manual, it says SBS ONE HD. Please be advised that SBS ONE HD and SBS On Demand are not the same. SBS ONE HD is a broadcast television channel that you can watch live on TV in high definition. It features a variety of programs, including news, documentaries, and entertainment.
SBS On Demand is an online streaming service that allows you to watch a selection of SBS programs on demand. You can access shows and movies whenever you want, but it requires an internet connection.
Both platforms offer content from SBS, but they cater to different viewing preferences: live TV vs. on-demand streaming.

Hi Tempo. Thanks, but you haven't answered my question. My problem is that I can't access SBS On Demand, despite good wireless internet access. Other streaming services work (eg ABC Iview). I think the issue is that SBS On Demand requires a log-in, but I'm not prompted for this. SO, how do I access SBS On Demand?

Can't access the settings button,it's there,but won't open??
Mh tv has lost colour and the image is black with a purple tinge on tv channels but the computer part is still in colour.
My 50” TV has started displaying what I’d call a “thinking” symbol, a pale blue circle that goes round and round. This is during free to air program viewing and is right in the centre of the screen. It used to only appear sporadically and then go away, but now it’s permanent.

Dose the remote have child lock the numbers are not working but the light is lighting up
I am unable to install other streaming apps, in particular STAN. Have tried to follow the instructions in the user manual and found that many many other apps are not able to be installed. Seems what comes with the TV is it and that is all you can get. Not very smart for a smart tv. Anyone have a fix for this problem?
To get Stan on this TV you will need a Chromecast or download the app onto your phone/tablet and run Stan from there, casting to the TV.
This TV has Netflix and Youtube. ... Good Does not have iView (ABC) and SBS onDemand. .... Bad I have tried going into the browser going into ABC website to iView and can find the TV programs but they will not run. Any ideas??
You will need wifi for this. Go to any ABC channel. After a short time a Red icon will appear on the screen. Press the red button that is next to the green button. If the wifi is on this should loud iView.
Yes, I have found this now. However, not all programs seem to be available, eg, On SBS On-Demand (Goto an SBS channel and press Red button) no episodes of "The Bureau" are available, - I have used Search - while these4 are present on SBS On-Demand App on iPads and our Panasonic TV. Very Strange!
My remote control doesn’t work, no signal at all. I bought the TV from ALDI in July. The TV is still under warranty. Can I get a new remote control from BAUHN?

My remote control often fails to work. Slow, goes back to “retrieving data”. I’ve tried hack of “unsticking” but doesn’t maintain good pad contact with buttons. Can replacement remotes be obtained?

Possibly try cleaning the contacts that the buttons touch. Try cleaning them with special electronic cleaning solutions that can be bought from Jcar electronics or any other electronics or computer store. Then you might get better results when the buttons press against the circuitry.
Anyone know how to connect to a networked folder or drive from this tv?
