Well you think they would wake up, its been impossible to open these cardboard milk spouts as its glued up inside it, you can't ring them so I'm posting this, wake up Aldi ,test these cartons spouts, its been like this for ages, one has to cut them open with scissors . Write them an email....no way. Cheers Thud

Follow-up  · I just don't buy it any more, tested one 4 days ago ,and it was still the same, if Aldi don't respect and listen, thats their ignorance. Try them yourselves, it ain't my problem anymore.

The 1litre carton with the fold back & push out to open. It's always very difficult to open neatly without tearing the opening. Perhaps a little too much glue. The milk is always good though.

Purchased in at ALDI for $1.65.

My rating is for the carton not the milk. As with most Aldi packaging Aldi milk cartons are cheaply made and almost impossible to open. Better to buy an established brand or Coles or Woolworths as they are waxed inside and much easier to use.

FARMDALE 1Lt Milk Cartons are hard to open – While the product inside is perfect, @Aldi_Farmdale brand 1 Litre cartons recently (+/- 3 months ago) changed from a white inside to a plain cardboard inside the folded seal at the top. I find it much more difficult to open this seal. Since the previous waxed white seal never leaked for me, I don’t know why they made the change??? As much as I like the brand, I’m thinking of changing to one of the many other brands because of it.
