Do not recommend, Terrible product – This kettle has been one of the worst Aldi buys for us, it’s falling apart, takes a long time to boil water and in general the water tastes metallic. It’s supposed to have 1 year warranty but based on other reviews I can see I’m not the only one with issues so not keen on a replacement either.
Awful chemical taste – Warning - this kettle has a terrible chemical taste. We've boiled it several times over and the metallic taste is still there. Even after the third time of boiling and discarding the water, we could still even smell the chemical smell coming from the kettle. This can't be good for you. Show details

After shorting out our power I turned it back on using different powerpoints and it never boiled water again. I emailed and waited for 4 days and then phoned their warranty number. I spoke to someone who said you must send it back with… Read more
the warranty card, and receipt before a refund is to be given. Which is costing me time and money to post it back before they will replace, fix or refund the money. Go and buy another brand!!!
