So very disappointed with this kettle. After two years, the plastic is disintegrating and there is a band of yellowing forming as stated in other reviews. What is that yellow ring around the kettle. You would think I've literally painted it. Poor product performance – Product to avoid .white kettle discolored badly in less than 3 years..suggested to seller that it’s a stabilization issue (heat stabilizers not UV stabilizers) FDA approved of course! The product never used outdoors!

Don’t expect to repair a Plisse kettle after warranty – After few years of using my kettle which has at slow boiling rate. The switch loosened and couldn’t turn on anymore. l need to dump my in new condition kettle. They pride themselves on leading innovative unique designs, charge for the luxury of their designs but don’t follow through with policies of being conscience of looking after the environment sustainably renewable recycling . Review your policies before trying to be leaders in your industry. I have tried many times to talk to the management team but can only correspond to an online assistant in their help line.

I purchased this directly with Alessi Australia and I am very dissatisfied with the quality.
Looks good, but that’s it really – Nothing wrong with the kettle (unlike the toaster) it just feels a little cheap quality for such an expensive brand of appliance. Also it’s quite noisy when boiling water. Show details

So beautiful but unusable – I love the design of this kettle but in reality it’s not worth the money unless you want to use it as a show piece. The water tastes terrible after it’s boiled, we can’t drink it, we have had to throw so many cups of tea and coffee down the sink because of the awful taste. Very disappointed

Beautiful to look at but feels like a Kmart kettle – It’s a gorgeous kettle to look at but the feel of it is cheap. Made from plastic when the kettle is on it’s hot to touch unlike the breville kettle. The lid is hard to flip and the kettle shakes when the water is boiling. on the way a pleated dress looks, and it really does stand out. I chose the white one that is a real focal point on my kitchen bench top. Alessi in many of their products are brilliant at bringing art into function and along with other products of theirs, continue to inspire me when I am doing pedestrian stuff at home.
