This is perfect indeed – So I suffered from typhoid for 3 weeks and lost half of my hair and moisture was gone from the rest as well- because of the side-effects of the medication i had to take. So the doctor asked me to try this liquid and it worked!! I dont know why people said that it doesnt work for regrowth of hair because honestly, it rerew my lost hair. People began to observe that my hair was becoming normal. In about a month and a half my hair looked normal as it was before, just as i like it. I use it sometimes now just for keeping my hair healthy.

I would definitely recommend this product to everyone!

I bought the alpecin double effect shampoo yesterday, lets see how that works.

Unbelievable Results – I purchased this shampoo about three weeks ago honestly I wasn't expecting much I had a receding hair line and thinning top, I saw the reviews and thought for £7.50 what was the worst that could happen. I''m nearly a month in now and I tell you not years of thinning hair have almost completely grown back. I felt I had to write a review because of the unbelievable results it really worked for me for any one worried about thinning or receding hair I say give a try if its going to work you will notice very quickly.

Really Nice to use after a shower – I have been using this product for about one month now. I originally saw it in Woolworths for around $15 but sales were slow and it heavily discounted to $2.50. I purchased six bottles. I cannot verify as to the stated benefits but the tingling refreshing feeling after using the product is fabulous and I will continue buying this product. I really like the fresh smell too. It dries in the hair quickly after massaging it in too. The container has a rubber dispenser attached to the neck of the bottle which makes it quick and easy to dispense directly into the hair. Careful as it can sting your eyes.

I also use the shampoo. A tiny amount goes a long way and does a great job. I am staying with Alpecin.

Stimlates hair growth - Stops hair fall – Please read my review of Alpecin Shampoo, as both of these products work together. Alpecin Liquid is a concentrated caffeine extract, with other additives such as Biotin etc. The shampoo alone is able to stop hair fall almost straight away. It is left in the hair for 2 minutes so that the caffeine in it can penetrate the hair follicles. However, by applying the Liquid and massaging it into the scalp. the concentrated application works all day. It is rather like water, so is very easy to apply. Allow it to dry a litlle (very fast) then comb your seemingly fuller hair to your preferred style. If you search the Net for reviews about Alpecin products, you will come across many favourable comments from the UK about the products. However, they do complain about the high price. But we are fortunate that all of the Alpecin products are priced around the $9 mark. Whilst you do not have to use the Liquid after shampooing, common sense will suggest that having a concentration of the active ingredients on your scalp all day will add to the efficacy of the shampoo you wash out. Gives added boost to the shampoo Nothing

Further Thaifan comment - Prior to beginning use of Alpecin Liquid, my ophthalmic eye pressure had never exceeded 22. A few weeks prior to use, the pressure was tested as 21. When I had another test about 3 weeks later, it had risen to 24. I asked Alpecin via their contact line as to whether the caffeine concentrate could go beyond the scalp into the blood stream, but never received a reply. I suggest any intending user with known high ophthalmic pressure on the borderline of having glaucoma to just use the shampoo which has only a weak amount of caffeine, not much more than a cup of coffee, according to the FAQ on the Alpecin website.
