magnificent, pure bath oil that coated the skin, blocked out the harsh minerals, and didn’t suds up. I have personally recommended it to every single newcomer on our local community discussion board for the last ten years as the ultimate solution for surviving our town's water. Now, after it went missing from shelves for months, it’s back under the guise of being "new and improved". What a joke. What the heck have you done to it? States trusted for 50yrs???? Well that’s where the buck stops and you should not trust it unless they go back to the original formulas .? It sux. They’ve added cheap cleansing surfactants so now it foams and lathers up like a basic body wash. If I wanted a foaming shower gel, I would buy one. By turning a classic, heavy, pure bath oil into a water-dispersible foaming wash, they have completely ruined its ability to protect the skin from hard water. I even tried switching to Ego QV bath oil out of desperation, but without the rich, protective lanolin coating of the original Alpha Keri, it just doesn't cut it against our brutal local water. I know losing one loyal customer won’t mean a single thing to a massive company, but it means I will never spend a cent on this brand again. More importantly, I can no longer in good faith recommend this product to anyone moving into our region. You took a perfect, staple medical-grade oil and turned it into generic, sudsy garbage. I didn’t even want to give it one star but I couldn’t post a review with out a star- so I would have preferred to give it -5 ( yep negative 5 stars. Avoid it at all costs.

The bath oil is just not the same as the old product. This is like everything else on the market whereas the original product was a unique find and a lifesaver for many dry skin amd eczema sufferers. We won't buy this again and hope they reinstate the original. Show details

You have recently changed your products. The one product I used all the time was shower and bath oil. It helped my dermatitis on my hands so much. Now the new product is completely different you can not call it an oil it’s so drying and it stinks so bad. I’m so disappointed. You really need to go back to the old product cause the new one is terrible.

I am a long time user of Alpha Keri products, mostly the gentle body wash but in winter when my skin gets extra dry and itchy I like to use the shower and bath oil. packaging before. I buy it without thinking, it’s my trusted brand, why would I think about it? It nice I get home I see it! The small lettering states “new and improved”, my heart sinks. I unscrew the top and the scent hits me! It’s not what most would call overpowering but it’s pervasive and the headache it gives me is instant. I use short expletives in my bathroom. A quick comparison of the ingredients of the old and new bottles shows many more new ingredients than the five in the old product. This is incredibly disappointing and now I need to find a new product.

I just wish I had said “yes please, I’d love a receipt” instead of “no that’s ok thanks”. That’s on me!
