Purchased & received 2 seater genuine leather recliner set plus additional leather protection warranty totaling $4847 on 10/10/2023. At the end of March 2025. ie 17 months after delivery, the colour has begun to rub off on the head rest area during cleaning with the product provided by the supplier. on 31/3/25. Assessor came to view damage on 1 May and was told a report would be compiled and outcome emailed. Received "claim denied" response on 2 May saying due to "wear & tear" claim is denied. Asked for review - again denied. I am sorely disappointed by Amart's response to this claim as this 2 seater set is only 17 months old and has been cared for diligently as directed by supplier. Upon purchase, the salesman told my husband and I, that this suite boasted top of the range leather and was guaranteed for 12 years for any type of damage occurring, with the exception of rips from dog paws. We will never purchase from Amart Furniture again and will never recommend them to anyone as they do not honour their warranty. This is the worst case of customer service I have ever encountered. Do not purchase from Amart Furniture if you expect them to honour their warranty.
