AOC U2790VQ 4K UHD Monitor (27")

Mediocre product, disastrous service – Bought this monitor from AOC. Lines of dead pixels appeared on the screen after a few weeks of usage. Tried to contact AOC support in Australia. After trying a number of times, which took a few weeks, they have finally replied and arranged a pick up to get the monitor into their service center. and started waiting for a response. Two weeks later, they have replied that the monitor screen is cracked - during the delivery they have arranged - and warranty is no longer valid. They have also said they can send a new monitor if I pay for it! As this was a ridiculous response, I didn't agree and wrote a couple of messages. Finally, they have decided to take to case to their R&D, where I have no idea how that is going to help. Now I have no monitor and getting no updates from AOC. This is the type of support you will get if you buy any products from AOC.

added a nvidia geoforce gt1030 2gb gddr5 (dont get the gddr4 version, pay the extra) graphics card and it flies along. The monitor is nice looking, flat panel frameless design, tilt adjustable and simple joystick control..heaps of good software make the monitor really shine...lower cost than std high def screens..4k video is absolutely amazing and beautiful colours with no motion lag...got to get used to the size but that wont take long!
