Apple iPad (9th Generation) Wi-Fi 64GB (2021)
MPNs: MK2K3X/A and MK2L3X/A3 reviews
Ordered the refurbished model. Screen has some issues. Also the cost was a bit expensive. Could have got A16 for more 150 AUD.

Will not disappoint, value for money – Bought the Apple iPad 10.2inch 9th Gen / 64GB / 2021 to replace a iPad Mini 2nd Generation Cellular. Did not even entertain the thought of opting for the Cellular version as experience dictated it was nothing but a waste of money and Wi-Fi is widely available these days. Apple offer just two storage options – a 64GB or 256GB. The 256GB version is another outright waste of money unless you are a keen photographer, games or video buff. Then you would need that extra storage. Ideally, I would have preferred 128GB so settled for the 64GB version. The 256GB version, costing around 48% MORE than the 64GB version is a rip-off. At least with the iPads, one gets a USB-C to Lightning Cable and a charger – a 20W USB-C Power Adapter. However, Apple continues ripping off iPhone buyers as Power Adapters (chargers) are an optional extra. After all, one would never buy a car where the fuel tank is an optional extra. I have only had this iPad for a month but first impressions are that it’s brilliant. It’s superfast, easy to use and without any glitches. Build quality is good as are finishes and attention to detail. However, it’s a large item with a large screen that needs extra care when handling. Regardless of case type, I predict it will not survive intact if dropped. So caution at all times when in use. I had 7 years of great use out of my original iPad Mini which apart from the Home button expiry, is still going and hopefully the new Apple iPad 10.2inch 9th Gen / 64GB / 2021 will provide the same. The Apple iPad 10.2inch 9th Gen / 64GB / 2021 has very high ratings internationally and it’s easy to see why, based on my brief experience. Excellent value for money at around $550 as one cannot buy any iPhone for that price. At the outset, I am exceptionally happy with this product. However, if things deteriorate, I will definitely amend my review in due course.

Apple - No email address +No Text replies + Bad Delivery = Awful Customer Service – Keep getting texts and emails about how they did not deliver. Can't reply to any of them. Still waiting for a regular iPad purchased 7 weeks ago. I paid for delivery and I expected delivery for my father who is 87 yo and always home. We have our suspicions that attempted delivery even happened appropriately or at all. Was not at the post office listed and spent over half an hour on the phone trying to phone Australia Post (who also don't reply to messages) REF: 46213552. Maybe the out-sourced contract deliverer who probably works for slave wages on a temporary visa who couldn't spent more than 30 seconds at the door if at all.
I'm getting texts and emails from Apple saying it is at a post office but Apple's customer service is so bad, there is no way to reply to any of these messages.
Hey Apple, you're a big company. Don't send people texts and emails if you don't intend taking customer replies. This sort of shoddy customer service should be banned by the federal government - if you operate a text or email service, then you mandatorily should provide the basic right of reply. We're living in a crap world run by the mega rich, and sneaky hand-picked politically consumed types in government who are totally out of touch, employing shrewd and deplorable tactics which need striking down. This overall experience affects the quality of the end product.
