Apple MacBook Pro 17-inch

Best PC I worked on – It is slim, cool, matte screen 17", comfy to carry around (and I do), everything just works and never misses the bit. And NO VIRUSES. Mac's computer OS's see viruses just as a text, not a programme. Using skin over keyboard with different language letters - very helpful. 5 out of 5 from me and I had many very expensive and cool laptops before - like 6 -7. I sourced parts from America & employed a local computer guy to fix it, lucky it only cost half of that...its still leaves a bad taste in my mouth though.... slimline, fast It broke down & ceased working after 13 months!! It doesnt accept all internet sites, its expensive!!

windows machine. I really like the look and the simplicity of the design, it's a very smooth fast laptop to use and its very well built with very little plastic as the unit is made out of aluminium. Hard drive is huge and these days compatibility is very good considering if you need certain programs you can still run windows on it.

Also have not had a virus as yet and I am not running any antivirus software on the machine at all. Battery life is certainly overrated, considering apple specifies that you will get 8 hours out of the battery and I only get around 3 hours, still that is much better than any ordinary laptop so not a huge con.

I don't like the file system, a pc is much easier to copy and paste files to different locations and it's appearance is quite messy.

minutes, I couldn't afford to be without a reliable PC and bought a Mac book pro 17" and Windows 7 and had it up and running via bootcamp with in a few hours.

It now boots straight to Windows and is a great PC, fast and with a brilliant 1920x1200 display. I have a magic mouse but generally run it with a usb keyboard and scroll mouse plugged in. No middle button on the Magic mouse which is frustrating for Windows. Likewsie the mac keyboard doesn't have all the keys you need. Reliable, fast

Can wear tighter pants and ride a retro 10 speed bicycle. Clearly form over function. We rip on the PC variants of laptops becasue they dont look like Mac's, but when you think about it, there is a reason why they dont look like Mac's, sharp edges are annoying when your trying to use the laptop, sure, ventilation holes look ugly, but they stop your latop from becoming uncomfortably hot to use.

The mouse touchpad is horrible to use, its not accurate.

The magic mouse chews through batteries, every 4 days I have to replace the them and I switch it off then not in use.

Multitasking is a joke, what is it doing in the background? Yeah Macs just do stuff, but what are they doing?

trackpad is big and easier to use than previous models, and the speakers are also better. The webcam is great too. The headphone jack sometimes does not work properly for a few seconds when you plug the headphone jack into the port. Apart from that, I cannot fault the computer!

Looks pretty, Not too expensive $1500 for 13 inch in my price range. Pretty to look at, fashionable, easy to use, durable the markup on accessories and software. Have to check compatibility on software and additional hardware ie. Printers.

Excellent – Light years ahead of any other OS. The hardware is solid and well put together but you will get solid hardware at this price with most machines. reason Apple users always look so smug. I have two Apple computers and now that I have used the laptop the older G5 desktop hardly gets switched on. Apple quality is excellent and they work. Sorry PC users - you are still living under a rock.

only decreased by 1%. The original battery capacity of one of these babies is 6300 mAh, and my 20 or so month old battery has a current capacity of 6248 mAh; a less than 1% decrease. And don't even get me started about Apple's WONDERFUL operating system, and since I'm not reviewing that I won't. The keyboard is so elegant is wonderful, yet durable and tough. The trackpad is quite amazing. Also, did you know the AC adapter port is magnetic? Well, it is. I've been in about 4 or so situations where if it wasn't magnetic I would've trip and my computer would've fallen, but all that happened was a little *ploop* and the cord disconnected and nothing bad happened! On a PC, I would've needed to ice down my arm and take my PC into a repair shop.

That's all I have to say about this wonderful, revolutionary computer! Great sized screen, great battery life, durable hardware Can get hot (but all laptops do),
