Apple PowerBook G4 15 Inch

Solid computer, now outdated – Fantastic computer. If you are a PC user, make the switch to Mac and you won't regret it. This Mac was perfect for over 10 years. The hard drive did die around 2011 and I have yet to get this repaired. I am a big fan on Mac computers, they just seem to last longer, are safer against virus' and easier to use once you get the hang of them. The downside would be repair costs and finding a really good technician. I know the parts are expensive and sometime hard to find. Very strong, reliable notebook that does not get viruses, (no matter which dodgy website you surf). Battery life is crap. Every 2 years you need a new battery, but a small price to pay for reliability and longevity.
Good – After only ever having pc's and putting up with virus after virus, I finally turned to a Mac and am feeling really good that I did. I bought this model second-hand with a 1.67ghz processor and am very happy with it. I run multiple programs at once and it runs quite efficiently (with at least 1.5 gig of RAM), including media software and music programs. I love the backlit keyboard, especially when you're in a dark room. Typing is also a breeze, and the 2 finger scroll pad is awesome! Highly recommend! Sturdy and strong aluminium design, nice screen size, firm hardware, holds a good amount of RAM
Good – My PowerBook G4 15" has been working now for 4+ years. It broke down once with a hard disk failure, but that's something that can happen to ANY consumer computer. Apart from that, the screen is perfect, the keyboard works with immaculate precision, the trackpad too, and the software, of course, is Apple. I would recommend this to people who want to buy it second-hand (you don't have to get an Intel Mac to do web browsing, e-mailing, facebooking, organising photos, music, movies, etc.!) Excellent design, very long lasting (four or more years so far), great accompanying software, good graphics and core processor, fan remains off usually (quiet), DVI- and VGA-output, sturdy (doesn't crack or scratch easily) not enough USB ports (get a hub), can get a little hot (in summer)
