was even done) - it just doesn't doesn't work out! All painting was completed on the second morning - probably seven hours maximum for two coats (again, if two coats were even applied - and if they even used Dulux paint!).

The pointing work was OK but sloppy in places.

The MESS left behind was incredible; I was not pre-warned that I would spend 4+ hours cleaning up after tradesmen, who should know better. My fences, garden furniture, kid's play equipment, umbrellas, pathways, patios all needed to be jetwashed at least twice, some of them three times.

The job was not completed to satisfaction.There is overspray on my neighbour's roof. Paint all over my lawn. There are patches of the old colour all around the edges or the tiles, and several other spots.

Minimum contact after an initial phone discussion; now zero contact at all. Business has been struck off, but probably still doing cash jobs, as the website is still up.

They seem very nice and friendly at first, then become passive-aggressive to get their hands on your hard-earned money, even if the work is not up to scratch. And now I have to finish the job myself, despite saving hard to get this job done.

Do yourself a favour - go elsewhere; get a recommendation from someone you trust. And don't use "oneflare" to randomly select trades for you; they are partly responsible for this upsetting and stressful episode.

Do Not Hire This Trade – Terrible work. Very unprofessional. Do not hire them. You will loose your money. Very rude. If you show him the faults in his work, he will reply rudely. I am betrayed by hiring him.

Very dodgy do not trust – I used aqua shield to paint for a roof restoration. [name removed] gave me a quote and then was very keen and eager to start the job. that afternoon with him telling me the job is done and asking when he could collect the money. I nearly fell over because we hadn't organised a time i had told him the color we were leaning towards and that is all. Getting to the point the quality of work was very poor. There were runs everywhere and the color was very patchy and very inconsistent like the paint was either watered down or he only did one coat.

I expressed my concern to john and he lost his temper. I then met him at my property the next day to show him what I was talking about and he claimed he couldn't see anything wrong with it. He then got on the roof with a paint brush and went over one of many areas that you could still see my old roof color and then demanded i pay him his money. After argument after argument I just payed him to get him off my property. The guy is a con man, take my advice and spend a bit more money on a reputable company because I wish I did.

Be very cautious – Be very wary of [name removed] from Aquasheild as the quality of his work is very poor. The job is patchy and there is overspray all over my house, windows, porch and garden. Generally a very messy, inefficient, unprofessional and at times inappropriate tradesman. It has take five weeks of battling to receive any paperwork or guarantee. Employ this person at your own risk!

Terrible trades people, never trust them and big liar in business – I used them to do my roof painting, they really keen to finishing their job. I told them there is water coming from roof they don't keen to come to check, never answering the phone.

Not providing written quote or guarantee kind of cheating. Never cleaned the site it is a mess I have to clear everything.

promise & my follow up I doubt very much if I will see these 2 documents. He trades from Mornington Vic, but the business address is L1/1 Queens Rd Melbourne 3004, however if you Google this address there is no mention of Aquashield Roofing located there. If you also conduct an ASIC search for Aquashield Roofing the A.B.N number quoted on the site is currently in the process of being Struck Off by ASIC. Silly, vulnerable me at this sad time in my life, I didn't request anything in writing from [name removed] before I went ahead with the job. As for the repaint & rendering job he did? well if it is anything like the way he conducts his business, then I have to wait & see.

His website states that he is a "Dulux Approved Roof Coating Company" but I will be contacting Dulux to inform them of my experience with Aquashield Roofing ([name removed]) & his doubtful business practices.
