Worked only three times – This unit was working well for the first 3 times I used it, then the 4th time leaked all of its water onto my caravan benchtop without me noticing and damaged the benchtop. It doesn't work anymore because of the water leaking through it. Show details

the HVAC (Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning) industry. - A small amount of air, flowing over a wet pad that soaks up water, does cool a TINY bit, but barely enough to cool your face; it certainly can't cool down a room. - This product is useless in a humid climate like Sydney or Brisbane and further north. - Once the water runs out in a very short amount of time (some reviews have tested that water lasts 30min at most) you have to fill the tank again and again, AND if using ice, your freezer can NOT make new ice fast enough to refill this in 30min! This, and others like it, are very poor products brought in by the ship-load for summer to be sold to those who are unaware that it is so small it cannot be effective at any satisfactory level of operation. - Many purchasers have reported returning them to the retailer for a full refund, BUT those who have bought on-line find it very difficult to return to an unknown retailer that may be located in another country. BUYER BEWARE. Research true online TEST reviews under "Scam Products" or similar. Not where people lie to you about this product being wonderful! You'll thank me for warning you. If you wish to be cool, install proper cooling products from professional retailers & installers, that suit your situation and climate.
