Terrible oven!!!! – All of the information is completely gone from the dials! It washed off! Also the oven burns everything to a crisp even on the lowest temperature setting. We also are in ther process of replacing the Ariston cooktop that doesn't get hot enough to boil water. Show details

It is such a crap oven – This damn oven burned my normally nice bacon and egg pie... it was only on fan bake on 100°c and it burned the pastry... i have only used this oven twice and both times i have cooked things on low and it frikin burns... stupid oven.. we also have a dishwasher that is artisan and its crap as well... it is clean have cleaned it and still doesnt clean the dishes properly... Would never buy again – This is the second ariston appliance we have brought and will definitely be the last this oven. Has been nothing but trouble, the door seal broke, the numbers and words around the dials wiped off and that's only using warm water and the temperature is hit and miss! Ariston = trouble.

Holy Crap This Terrible Oven Just Ruined Up My Evening – Was gonna get LAID. Cooking a 3 course meal. Main course was roast chicken and vegetables. Avoid Ariston, Crap Ovens – As soon as the warranty expired the oven stopped working. Had it repaired after waiting weeks for the part, then the thermostat didn't appear to work, everything I cooked burnt no matter what I had the temperature on. Now it's not working again, only 6 weeks after the repair. I'm not getting it fixed, it's going to the dump and I'm getting a brand that works!

A terrible product – This oven is a terrible product the worst oven I have ever bought - just after the two year warranty expired the element blew up I repaired it and later the element blew up again. Ariston refused to replace or repair the oven in both cases plus they were the most arrogant company I have EVER dealt with. My advice Don't buy Ariston products.

Great oven when it's working!! – We bought our oven just under 2 years ago and have had problems with it right from the start. before switching itself off completely. We had the thermostat replaced and it was going great guns until about 2 weeks ago. So 12 months after replacing the first thermostat, the new one has had it and we are chasing the company up to get it replaced again! Thankfully it is still under warranty (by about 2 weeks). Epilogue - 12 months after replacing the thermostat for the 2nd time it broke again. That makes 3 thermostats in two and half years. After a number of phone calls and emails back and forth and a couple of tantrums (from both sides) the company replaced our oven for us and due to circumstances we were lucky enough to receive a free upgrade as well. Our new Ariston oven is beautiful and works like a dream, we couldn't be happier with it. The after sales service has been fairly helpful each time, if you can call that a pro? Dodgy thermostat

Very Disappointing – The Ariston FZ 51 IX would not have been our first choice but it came with the house where we moved in. The house was new, so was the oven but developers tend to choose what they can get at low cost and don't much worry about the rest. Still, it could have been something solid, with basic features. We've had this oven for over a year now, never quite working properly. It was difficult just to get warranty service but luckily we managed to get the receipt from the builder. We found it very complicated and difficult to deal with the warranty/service people.

When we moved in, we turned the oven on, it appeared to work. However, when we first used it for serious cooking, it stopped heating half way through the baking. Since it was still hot on the outside, we did not notice it straight away and since we were expecting guests guest, it was all embarassing.

I won't bother the readers with the saga of the first warranty claim, let's just say it was traumatic with several phone calls and it took 3 visits from the repeare technician. He did not have basic parts on him for the first visit and forgot to bring the right ones on the second. There was also problems with the timing of the visits and communications between him and the office was errm... very limited. A bit disappointed from the whole experience, the oven had only occasional use. Then, while baking for guests again, the oven decided to go full power only, with no temperature control. On closer inspection, with the temperature probe dangling as it is, I suspect the repeair guy did a dodgy job last time. The oven is still under warranty (2 years), so we attempt to get it repaired and once it'll break down out of warranty, we'll ditch it. I'm sure we won't have to wait long...

As far as features and operation goes, it's quote run of the mill basic and it's more difficult to clean than other ovens we used to have.

Bottom line is, even if Ariston has much better models, now we are totally turned off the brand (we had problems with other Ariston appliances in the same house, with similarly bad experience) and will never buy Ariston. Ever. Why take on risk when there is so much competition out there?!

When I explained the situation Ariston took again 2 months to repair the glass and my attempts to talk with a manager were met with excuses and a management team that seemed to be constantly at lunch, taking other calls or otherwise attending other "more important" business as they put it. When I explained the situation I was told it was my fault for standing in front of the oven. Poor quality, poor service, poor warranty, Never again. Nothing, There were no pros What wasn't wrong with it would be easier to answer

All bad – This has been a very disappointing oven. The knobs broke off, the numbers wore off, and the oven has the peculiar ability to burn everything regardless of the temperature setting. Ariston is a 'name' brand, and maybe their high end ovens are really good - I can't comment. But I can say that this one has been dreadful. We have had it for less than 2 years, we're replacing it with a different brand.

Best stove i have ever had – Heats up quick bakes likes a professional oven as seen on t.V ceramic cooktop is very easy to adjust and heats up very quickly. It is very easy to clean and maintain as there is no knobs protruding through the cooktop. The oven bakes all goods evenly and i would recommend this product to any one

What oven must do well - cook, heat quickly and hold the temperature,

with even temperature zones throughout the whole surface.

This oven is doing all these tasks perfectly.

Plus it is so easy to clean - even after fat and dirty barbeque run

for a company of 10 people.

Ariston FZ 51 IX – This is the first time we have used Ariston before. We purchased as a cooking package, and was the most economical package we could afford at the time. So far we haven't experienced any concerns with the product. It has all of the basic functions that we use when cooking. It is easy to use. Inexpensive, easy to use, looks presentable.

people come, reps come we have had to chase up with phone calls. We are accused of misuse, which is not true. Ariston don't want to do anything to help. Harvey Norman, who are the trader, don't want to help.
