Great oven but problems at 4 years – Bought this oven 4 years ago. Love everything about the oven. The big interior, easy function, the pyrolitic cleaning. Unfortunately the pyrolitic cleaning function recently stopped working. Luckily oven was still under warranty. Aristit was great. Tried a couple of new parts which didn’t fix it and then replaced the oven with a new one. Sadly the new oven isn’t as big inside which is a bit disappointing, but I am sure I will learn to adjust. Works well after many warranty repairs – The oven has some great features...when it works. So far I have had to get the following repaired under warranty: * inside lamp glass * divider switch (could only use the entire oven because the divider would not register) * pyro clean would not work. I think the control panel was replaced. * inner glass shattered The latter was caused by… Read more
the first pyro clean attempt. While heating up the inner class shattered and heated pieces feel on our floor melting the vinyl. Ariston will not compensate.
pyro mode keeps tripping the circuit breaker, can never get a clean oven - – Never buy this brand - pay good money for something that does not work. Have replaced out circuit breaker twice but still the pyro fails. The suggestions offered by the representatives her are nothing but words and they never offer anything of value to overcome the problem. We cannot afford to buy another oven at the moment. No wonder they discontinued the oven - it is crap and makes you wonder about other ariston products Show details

Ariston 0S99DPIX Self cleaning oven bought from new 6 years ago – I have had this oven for 6 years and use it regularly and use the pryro cleaning. Never had an issue or had any problems till now, as it is tripping the circuit breaker. Having it fixed as I think it is the element. Sorry to read about all the complaints but mine has been just GREAT. Adding as 4th Feb 2016. It was not my oven tripping the circuit but my Ariston microwave. So my oven is still working super after 7 years.
Amazing oven! – We have had this oven for just under 2 years. LOVE the huge interior. I can manage to make 4 shelves of cookies, cupcakes, and other stuff including pizzas! Self Cleaning is good, however need to clean the glass manually. Its easy though, with some bi-carb and vinegar and light scrubbing. It doesn't seem to have a minute minder though, just a… Read more
timer that switches the oven off after the duration of time.
The oven globe blew about 3 months in, and I couldn't work out how to get the glass cover off, so just rang customer service and guy came out 2 days later with the part on hand. No charge. Great customer service!!
I haven't experienced the glass door exploding, And I run the pyrolytic function at the end of every month (we cook A LOT)
The internal divider is very handy as well!
Very Pleased with this Oven :)
Oven door exploded – Just put on to clean before I went out to golf and the door has exploded. I'll go to golf then down to harvey Normans to see what they can do. I was going to cook roast pork tonight doesn't look like I will be cooking for a while I bake and cook all,the time and it is such a good oven here's hoping it will get replaced with out to much hassel

Don't buy ariston – Bought my oven and cooktop package a little over 3 years ago. The oven has all cracked inside I feel from the heat from the self clean also all the seals have hardened and just about destroyed. Cooktop still going ok. Such a shame when you save for something you think is special. Will need to again look for another oven soon but it won't be an ariston.

Works But Expensive And Poor Quality – We have had this oven (and an Ariston cooktop) for 3 years now and it is still limping along. We have had the following problems from new: • Door Switch Broke • Door catch does not engage, requiring the door to be pulled over by hand to get the lock working in pyro mode • 3 out of 4 knobs have cracked and are useless (some failed after only… Read more
being used a couple of times)
• Fan is very noisy
• Outside of the oven is dented and bashed (from new)
Soon after purchase the little switch that tells the oven the door is closed snapped off. This meant the oven was out of order. To Ariston's credit they did come and fix it. The tradie who fixed it asked if it was a "seconds" oven as the outside of the case was very dented and bashed, it wasn't a seconds but we paid top dollar for it. He said he would speak to Ariston but we have never heard anything back to date. It has been working ok, the top small space oven is a bit of a waste as you can only use the fixed element. The instructions are very cryptic, it can take some experimentation to work things out.
Can't wait to get a new oven, but need to keep this going a while longer to get my monies worth.

Terrible – We bought this oven mainly for the self-cleaning mode and I had been scared to use this mode for the first 2 years of owning it. My fears were founded the first time I used the pyrolitic mode and the door exploded! It was so hot that the broken glass melted into our kitchen floor. I emailed Ariston straight away and they replied within 15 minutes… Read more
stating their "concern". They did replace the door within a week and we were told to get 2 quotes for our floor and we would be reimbursed for this too. We got the quotes and forwarded them to Ariston. We then waited...and then had to replace the floor ourselves because it was 2 weeks until Christmas and we had family arriving. It has now been 10 months and we still haven't been reimbursed. We keep being told "it is with our Insurance Dept", "I'll look in to it for you", "I'll get back to you". This is ridiculous. I think the only reason they replied so quickly when it happened is because they know they are providing a faulty product - I have read of several oven doors exploding. It is dangerous (not to mention the horrific smell and smoke that comes with it) and I would NOT recommend this oven to anyone.

Ariston - have poor manufacturing standards – I have bought the Ariston O99DPIX oven and an Ariston gas cook top - my god I never had so much go wrong with one brand. The Ariston oven started playing up 12 months ago where it would randomly turn off during cooking or the oven temp would go up or down with interaction. It got worse and worse and most times we wouldn't use it. We put it through… Read more
the pyrolytic cleaning phase regularly (every 3 - months) we have had unit not even 3 years now. We have been fairly satisfied with the cooking capabilities of it but now the oven is completely screwed, my wife put it through its cleaning phase, half hour later came back to it to find the glass is a million tiny pieces. We called Ariston warranty department in September 2014, when it originally started faulting (thinking it was covered by the 5 year warranty we were sold with and what is clearly on their Ariston Website) only to be palmed off numerous times to the sales department. We called 4 times and got nowhere, on 2 occasion they flat out said 'not covered by warranty'
Last year we considered this a small issue and we were contemplating paying a local service agent just to fix the unit but now, we have a defunct oven with glass everywhere! I don't understand how we can pay over $2500 for a premium grade oven only to be told that its not under warranty and to have this explode on us?
Why can't Ariston at least review our products to see why these have had such a massive failure. This is so absolutely poor.
Not impressed – I too have had problems with soggy roast vegetables even after cooking for an hour and a half. This oven does not cook evenly and I have to shuffle the trays to get biscuits browned. The other night I cooked a roast chicken in a dish with the vegetables on the side but when carving the chicken there was one corner that was still uncooked even… Read more
though the rest was cooked through. When using the pyro cleaning there is black tar-like marks around the door opening when it is finished that will not come off. I also find it annoying that the oven turns itself off when the timer goes off. This is not helpful when baking a large cake that may need extra time after testing. I would certainly not recommend this oven to anyone and am sorry I spent the extra $$ to purchase it.

Aristdonothing – Like everyone else not happy with the product and especially after sales service. Again it is the common fault of an exploding door during Pyro clean. Pyro – Had this oven fitted last week and baked and cooked a few things that have been fine. Used the spit roast for a chook today and it made one almighty mess inside the oven so I decided to use the 1.30hr pyro function. I removed all the metal and cleaned the glass and was expecting a bit of a smell but the fumes were terrible! I had to lock the kids… Read more
in there bedrooms our eyes stung and watered and we were chocking. We had all the fans on and every window open. We persevered knowing we had a clean oven at the end. Sadly I was very wrong the back of the oven and the back sides had the fine white ash I was told would be there. The front sides and front base had a thick black tar baked on and the glass door had a new smokey brown tint. So disapointed after all the hype extra $$ and time. The oven was purchased new from Harvey Norman ,they also arranged the fitting. I will be contacting them tomorrow as I'm not happy or impressed.

Overtly Expensive Junk! – My parents purchased the Ariston OS 99DPIX and a gas hob as a supposed upgrade, to my better judgement. It had been a VERY expensive oven that worked as an oven should until the day my mother put the oven into self clean mode prior to family coming to stay. Well the oven door exploded an urgent call was made to our local HN store which was… Read more
pleasent, as usual. An authorised Ariston tech arrived several days later and the new door was ordered under factory waranty. This process took about 6 weeks to complete as a replacement had to come from the factory, which if I'm correct is in Italy. OK, 6 weeks is extremely excessive, but you except it and move on.
Several months later, the oven begins to exhibit strange tendecies to turn off completely in a random fashion. This went on for a few months and another call was made to HN to arrange a warranty claim. The first repair company who attended several times to fix the problem solution to the problem was to switch the power off at the switch board when this issues occured. Another call to HN had another company attended and isolate the problem, the main board on the oven apparently is damaged and Ariston has so far sent three replacement boards over a 2-3 month period which none have worked, at all.
For an oven the costs quarter the price of a new small car, its trully beggers belief why Ariston cant fix this usless boat anachor of an oven. Be warned, it may be designed and built in Italy but I'm yet to see anything from there that dosent rust or breakdown ALL THE TIME! My mother wants a replacement, I want the money back to buy something reliable other than Ariston junk.
Note: HN have been extremely helpful and are in no way at fault in any manner.

Sorry Ariston this is not good enough & only 7 days too i have too cook christmas dinner.... Not Happy
Bloody Awful After Sales Service! – We bought an Ariston oven two years ago, only to find that time after time cakes flopped & food burnt when I've never had problems like this before. I've baked all my life & knew that it was the oven & not me! I had gradually lost interest in baking since the purchase of the oven. We called Ariston to find out if a tech could come & test the oven… Read more
as the thermometer was showing that the temp was some 40c out! I tried many times only to be redirected by their call system & never called back after the initial complaint .
Three weeks later they said they now would sort it out, but had to find a new contractor for my area. Weeks later, I was sent details of the new contractor which showed wrong mobile number & email address for the business. I googled the contractor & managed to get him go come now four weeks later. They came ordered a new thermostat & circuit board & we heard nothing for another 6 weeks! I rang Ariston to find out why, to be told, "oh the parts have actually come in today! " What a coincidence! But apparently couldn't be despatched to the contractor for another couple of days. The contractor came 9 days later to put in new parts.....
He arrived but guess what? Ariston ordered the wrong parts! The contractor was visably embarressed, knowing it was now 3 months since I first contacted Ariston!
I went to Harvey Norman & told them my story & they seemed very embarrassed, promising me that they would sort out the situation & that I would get a replacement oven probably by the next week & that they were going to the top to sort this bad situation out. I heard nothing for two weeks, so I rang H N today to be told apologetically that the guy dealing with my case is away today & that they would call me back once he's sorted out the problem.
It's now 4 months since I spoke to Robin at Ariston. I am so furious at the service I am ready to call today tonight after 4 months without an oven & it seems my case is not unique!!!
Today I'm told by the contractor the right parts are finally here... Honestly DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM ARISTON!!! No one cares once something goes wrong & it's not a cheap brand! Harvey Norman has major shares in the company & the service is totally bad!! I seriously have never experienced such bad service, professionalism or disorganisation! I would like to take this further, because it's morally wrong to tolerate such bad after sales service, plus I need to cook! Can't imagine cooking in an oven after living 4 months without one! Absolutely disgusting! Shame on you Ariston & Harvey Norman!

Top Oven – My new ariston oven has great capacity for backing, very impressed with the multi temperature. as for cleaning A++. Thanks to the people at Harvey Norman I aslo got the cook top and range hood.
Great oven, glad we bought it!! – We bought this oven late last year in readiness for our kitchen renovation in Feb this year. We were not sure what we wanted in oven but it had to be easy to clean and must have a grill. This oven was different. Yes, it had a grill within the oven but we could split the oven in two with a divider and cook two different meals at different… Read more
temperatures. This has coming in handy several times while cooking a casserole in larger part of the oven and biscuits in the smaller part. Everything is cooked beautifully. Love the Pyrolytic self-cleaning feature. So easy to keep clean. Loaded with other features. Really happy with this oven. Excellent buy, looks stylish, love using the oven Can't fault it.
Great product – This is a little expensive & wouldnt have purchased unless it was on sale but it's fantastic. the half oven option is energy efficent and works great for my family. Self cleaning pyrolitic function have not tried yet. The Pizza, cake & bread function are timed perfectly & the heat is distributed evenly. Love this oven:-)
Loving My New Oven – As a keen cook and baker I am very impressed with my new Ariston oven. As a 60W oven the capacity is amazing. The interior is huge and the ability to bake multiple items at different temperatures at the same time is a bonus. The oven heats up very quickly. Capacity, speed of temperature and simple to use. The timer 'buzzer' is too quiet for me, although I might just be a little deaf as the kids can hear it just fine! Show 4 replies
I waited a long time to buy an ARISTON – As an Owner Builder I found it was easy to install and even though it is multi-functional (3 ovens in 1), it was also easy to use-it did what it promised, AND has a 5 year warranty. I suffer from fibromyalgia so the less chemicals I use, the better for my health. Pyroletic oven got me. It's designed to be chemical free cleaning, can be installed at any level (i am vertically challenged and cannot lift if placed too high or too low)
This oven is awesome!! Totally recommend – I am amazed at how easy this unit is to use. I am not a experienced chef but now I cook like one with the help of this Ariston oven. Every thing cooks as it should within the times that recipes specify and comes out to perfection. I'm very impressed. Dials are easy to use and the multi sectional space is so handy and I have tried them all out… Read more

Sexy oven! – This oven works beautifully. Heats up fast. I was worried that it would be tricky to use but its actually very straight forward. I have not had the opportunity to use pyro function yet or duel ovens as yet. It has been easy to clean with a quick wipe after baking so far. Looks great. Preheats fast.
Fantastic oven Ariston – Bought this oven after looking for a pyroletic for easy cleaning with no chemicals. Many different brands but love the fact that Ariston give you a 5 year warranty as standard. Love the look and size of the Ariston, so much room and so many cooking functions and still yet to use them all.
Fantastic Oven – Bought this oven early december.Cooks everything great and had no problems and so easy to clean bring pryrolitic. The oven uses little power and has a fan to cool down once the cooking has finished.Would recommend this product to a friend. The size is plenty for 2 levels of cooking and lots of different combinations for use. Instructions and cleaning
Amazing, love it – I bake and decorate cakes and I'm so happy with the cooking result it's consistent and the easy clean feature is so good! It makes perfect soufflés every time with its even tempreture. I also loved the mirrored door it looks so good in the kitchen and I couldn't be happier with it! Reliable and sleek
Top oven – After replacing a very expensive oven that did not last 5 years we decided on this ariston pyrolytic. After 3 months use we have found it to cook quickly and evenly. The oven divider works really well, though we haven't used its full potential - still learning. Cleaning has had no problems todate. works well and was easily fitted Takes time to learn all the tricks.
My Ariston oven – A great addition to my kitchen. So versatile. Two ovens in one. It has created perfect roasts and crunchy potato wedges. Baking Christmas treats made easy. Mince pies, shortbread, and fruit cakes evenly cooked and tasted brilliant. The Ariston passed with flying colours even provoking a little jealousy in the family. Well done. It's the best oven I have ever owned.
The perfect oven – Installed just in time for Christmas and didn't have much time to get used to it but it didn't matter as the oven coped beautifully with a large turkey (cooked to perfection), roast vegetables and 3 shelves of Yorkshire puddings which rose magnificently. I chose this oven mainly because you can cook on more than 2 shelves at a time and it worked… Read more
really well. The other benefit is that the oven can be divided into two smaller ovens and I have used the smallest oven quite a few times for reheating which must be saving a lot in electricity. It is a very well designed oven which is practical to use and uncomplicated. The number of shelf options and the easy division into two smaller ovens
Everything I thought it would be!! – The Ariston Pyro oven is the perfect addition to my kitchen. It's huge internal space allows me to cook with ease and the ability to cook with the rotisserie means the family Sunday roast is a must without the stress. The perfect oven that everyone should own! – This oven is simple to use and spacious. I have made the most amazing cakes and meals in this oven and have had so many compliments about how much better my cakes look and taste. The even heat distribution and 10 cooking functions have made my life so much easier. Long 5 year warranty, value for money and spacious.
Very impressed – Very spacious with lots of shelving. Need time to sit and read all instructions and have the manual on hand to learn which setting and which shelf for the different food types but it heats quickly and cooks evenly. The different function settings are wonderful once you are familiar with them which makes cooking a breeze. large oven space for a 600mm oven with plenty of shelves
Kevin's new Ariston Oven – This Oven has so far worked out really well for a way overdue upgrade to our old cooking appliance. to be. The instruction booklet is fine, but I think that Ariston could possibly improve a little bit by supplying perhaps a dvd on further cooking tips when you purchase an affordable upgrade like we have just done. I am sure that with this new addition to our future cooking ventures we will enjoy many years of satisfaction. The appearance of this installed Ariston Oven is most complimentary to our prior over all kitchen look. No more doors open for grilling
Awesome oven – very happy with the oven! does everything it should and having the dual zones is awesome! the service from Harvey normans I was very pleasantly surprised was very good, the cash back card came promptly... overall very happy. I would recommend this product to someone thinking of a new higher end oven. everything, mainly temp is very accurate not much
Brilliant oven – This is a brilliant oven, it heats up quickly and cook evenly on multiple shevels. The control are simple to use and the split oven is great, it saves time in that you can cook to dishers at different temperature at once, this can be a great time saver. The many different cooking functions is also a bonus. We have not used the self cleaning mode as yet. This oven does make you want to cook when ever possible. ease of use. Nil.
