So far so good – Early days but the device does cool a small room that I needed it for 25sqm. It is labelled 65 decibels, so I was expecting the noise. For a home office, I prefer comfort from the heat over humming sounds of an ac. The only issue was the lack of information about this product, hence why I want to help others buying this from Bunnings. Some condensation does drip down from the back. The pipe to the exhaust will only extend to 1400mm and they don't recommend extending it with more pipe beyond this, so ensure your power point is close to the window you will exhaust it to. The diameter of the exhaust pipe connector is 15cm, the length of the power cord is about 1.5m. They say to have the unit at least 50cm away from anything, so take these distances into account before purchasing. I struggled to find a power plug, next to a window the pipe could reach AND 50cm away from any other wall or furniture. The instruction manual forgot to talk about an extra exhaust hole in the middle back of the machine. After contacting Arlec to ask what this is for, apparently it is the hose drip exhaust when heating. The bottom plug, is for when cooling. They say, when these holes need empyting, the machine auto shuts down. The machine itself is heavy if you have to carry it up lost of stairs so bear that in mind (I'd say its about 45kg). For the price at Bunnings, I am happy with it. Who knows how long it will last
