Don't like it at all – I had this oven for a week. Makes good roast, provably better and juicier than other ovens I had. But when trying to make crunchy baked potatoes, the potatoes come out translucent gummy mushy potatoes instead and I have tried to bake them using the pre set program and on manual settings with similar results. Tried to bake a simple sponge cake on the pre-set program and it baked on top but the inside did not raise at all and remained raw. I saw similar results from other users so I'm pretty sure it's not me...it's the oven. I had previous ovens before and I never had such bad results when baking. If there's a secret I don't know please anyone let me know. Otherwise...waste of money for such an expensive $$$$ oven.

Great oven which cooks beautifully – Renovating our kitchen, we decided to try a combination steam oven. The Asko is brilliant! It is so fast to heat up, and cooks food better and more quickly than any oven I have ever used. This is probably due to how well the door seals in the heat and moisture. Build quality is excellent. I have been using the Asko for 6 months now and I am very impressed. Highly recommended

Purchased in for $3,999.

Quite disappointed – 2024 Update I have had this oven repaired about 5 times since I bought it. Biggest regret ever!!! Just had the fan replaced and had to wait 6 weeks for the part. Original Review This oven looks nice but the inside is light grey, it is very difficult to clean. Wish I had a black oven inside now. It has a cleaning function but that doesn't remove most of the marks. You really need to get a good cleaner and scrub hard.

The steam cooking function works well but it's really hard to find recipes. It doesn't come with a cooking guide, there are just two pages of suggested times in the instruction book but I have found the times completely wrong. It was leaking water when I first got it, but they came and fixed that. The Combi steam function cooks well. My mum has a Meile it is about 3 or 4 times quicker to cook most things...but also three to four times the price.

When used as an oven there is no fan bake which confuses me. The oven doesn't seem hot enough, I cooked sausage rolls as per the instructions at 180C for 20 minutes, I had to up the temp to over 200 and it ended up taking over 35 minutes. It does bake things quite well especially on Combi steam, but it's not even, part of the oven gets browner than the other.

To be honest, I am disappointed with this oven. I had never heard of Asko, it came highly recommended but I wish I'd stuck to my favourite brand Bosch.
