We have had our Asko Wall oven (model OP8637A) for 2.5 years. It has required servicing multiple times, with each issue generally related to the door sensor/lock or thermostat. The first service technician told us that the issues are due to us having solar panels (fluctuations in Hz), but that seems a very lame reason for an oven to fail. We are… Read more

hugely disappointed in the quality of this oven, and the service technicians don't have anything good to say about the brand... Surely 2.5 years is a very short life for such an expensive oven? but, no - this was an awful buy! When it works - it does it's job well. It takes approximately 9min to get to 180 degrees C on fan. The timer is reliable... but the multiple months of it being out of service while we await repairs is simply unacceptable --UPDATE ~2 months later-- After escalating our issue with both Asko International and Asko Australia, we have been approached by a service organisation who have offered to see to our oven. However, the part will take 7-8 weeks to arrive, so we are to be without an oven for a further 2 months (resulting in 4 months out of service). This assumes that the part is actually the issue, and that if it is - that the new part will not fail again. Additionally, there is the high cost of callout and technician time (charged per 10min) Please don't buy an Asko - you will regret it. There is an old adage: "insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results"

Very dangerous – We’ve had this over for just over 5 years and have had several very dangerous faults. The most recent is a temperature sensor failure which almost started a house fire. Please don’t buy, even if you can get a good deal, ASKO is just not worth the risk. Show details

More issues than use – Difficult getting a response from customer service, took a year to get display panel replaced under warranty now out of warranty and not working again. Condensation when using oven can also effect display. Empty nesters so minimal use, would hate to calculate the cost per meal prepared. Will not buy ASKO again. Show details

CUSTOMER SERVICE NON-EXISTENT – Failure to call back after 2 or 3 messages left with service department and customer service. Called both Perth and melbourne office. I am in melbourne but the service number went through to Perth. I called her twice but never got a call back. Called melbourne twice but never got a call back Second time since new (six years) this fan forced oven has broken. Normal function still heats and bakes but all fan functions do not work. Show details

Find another brand. Doesn’t deliver as advertised – After putting this oven to the test, I am disappointed. It doesn’t cook evenly and I still have to rotate trays. The pyrolytic clean function is not grand for the price either. Parts of the oven don’t clean and the door glass is marked by the door seal. I do love the telescopic shelves, it's very quiet, spacious inside and the soft close door is… Read more

a nice touch. Good lighting inside. I wanted an oven that could be set at a low temperature to prove bread dough. And fingerprint proof, stainless finish.

After sales support was the worst part. No support at all really. Rude and dismissive,

Spend your money on another brand.

Fantastic Oven – After the oven that came with our house finally died we decided to look at a quality replacement. After looking at many different brands we settled on the ASKO. A range of different functions and Pyro mode for cleaning meant it was a massive jump over our old oven. So far we have loved the way the oven cooks food evenly throughout the oven. An… Read more

example is cooking cupcakes, we used to have to do one tray at a time, now we can fill the oven and they all cook evenly.

The pyro cleaning function is good, though if the trays are left in doesn't quite get as clean as it states.

Overall very happy.

Love – Have just installed this oven and couldn't be happier. Easy to operate and has cooked everything to perfection so far. Have not tried pyrolytic function yet but will update when I have. Was concerned about lack of reviews at first but so happy to have found this oven. Love, love, love.  Show details
