efforts to have them help me out with my issue, showing no concern nor interest whatsoever. Asus, it's an expensive piece of technology, your two year warranty doesn't reflect the expensiveness of this laptop nor the period of time that I believe I should get before negative issues arise. We have chosen to trust your products and technologies and I personally don't consider your objectionable behaviour as customer-friendly. I certainly will never be purchasing an Asus product again, avoiding risk of failure in an expensive Asus product within a short period of time and with very limited warranty indeed!

was a screen corruption. The two images attached show the corrupted and the correct screen image. I was concerned that there it was due to hardware fault, but the driver update from NVidia has fixed it, and it has never returned since.
One issue, which is not the fault of the laptop, is that I have a 2T external hard drive attached to the laptop, and it spins down quickly, and when I try to access files on it I often have to wait until the drive comes back to life again. I believe this can be fixed by adjusting the power management on the USB ports, I just haven't got around to do it yet.
Some people may note that the laptop is lacking a webcam and a mic, however, I nowadays use my mobile phone for all communication, so I rather not have those. Hard core gamers can purchase a cheap USB webcam and clip it on the screen, so this is not a drama at all.
This is a brilliant piece of equipment, I am very happy with the purchase, and I would recommend it to anyone without hesitation.
