Near perfect, but some significant flaws – Flaws, to begin with: First, like many before me (a quick google will attest to this), I noticed the GPU fan had a slight rattle and needed a good air dusting to quiet down. Secondly, the packaging is a little sparse. Not much of an owners manual or explanation for the special keyboard keys or even the lighting effects/control. Little explanation… Read more
of the fan modes either. I suppose customers are just expected to download manuals online or fiddle their way through the options in the Armoury Crate application. Thirdly, the laptop loses some of its light and easily portable shine when the power brick is exactly that- A BRICK. Thick and heavy. The power chord is also a little short, in my opinion. The battery life could be better. The good stuff: Ethernet port! Yes. A must for any laptop claiming to be a "gaming" laptop. Separate jacks for mic and headset, also a plus. The keyboard is nicely spaced out, the lighting is vibrant. Trackpad could be bigger but.. at this size, it's easy to avoid it while typing so I'm 50/50 on it. It's also responsive without being overly sensitive, which is nice. The laptop is comfortable to type on overall, without the edges digging into your wrists/arms (a big pet peeve of mine with my last Razer Blade). It's light, it's hella fast, it keeps cool. The screen is A+, with lots of colour modes to choose from which is great. It is, as the title says, near perfect.
