I found one! – I bought the OC version. This card is pretty stylish and doesn't go too overboard with the 'gamer aesthetic' and I'm pretty excited to use it as the centrepiece of my new build! Review of ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 3080 OC – This was the RTX 3080 card I was looking to get. It has a nice, fairly minimalist design compared to some of the other 3080s available. It's also one of the shorter cards which is useful for smaller cases.

Great card – This card has been a godsend in hitting high fps in the games I play. It has a sleek design and runs cool and quiet. Would reccomended this to anyone wanting a new graphics card.

Amazing 30X0 series GPU! – Having moved from a 2080 blower style card to an ASUS 3080 TUF OC with 3 fans, the noise during load has basically disappeared. It runs super quiet, never jumps above 65c during load in ambient room temp of 21c, and lets me hit 144fps or more on most modern titles with ultra settings enabled @ 1440p. 3080: Hard to get, but worth it when you do! – The 3080 is an excellent graphics card, runs all my games at maximum settings with high framerates. The Asus Aura Sync lighting on the card also works great with my Asus motherboard and I had no troubles getting it working with my Razer peripherals. definitely pricey but does bring a large chunk of performance with it. So far pretty happy with it :)

RTX 3080 ASUS TUF OC – This card is great so far. Reliable, and a fantastic upgrade from my 970! Hard to get hold of stock but this card seems to be more common than other 3080 options out there

The only 3080 you want – Upgrading from a GTX 1080. Can finally game at 1440p, high refresh, max settings. Graphics are buttery smooth and super impressive to boot. offerings compared to my 1070, so was waiting for the nVidia 30series. After seeing the 3080 launch, I spent ages looking at different reviews from different manufacturers, and I wasn't surprised to see Asus being mentioned again and again as a rock solid option. I even confirmed the Asus Tuf Gaming RTX 3080 OC edition would fit in my case by overlaying a photo of it over my Asus GTX 1070. However, getting the card proved to be the bigger challenge. With such high demand and supply issues galore, I wasn't able to get it anywhere in NZ. So I gave up trying to find one and thought to myself that I'd wait until next year to look for it. But luck was with me when I happened to see some facebook advertising for a 3070 at Cello Technology in New Zealand. I checked their website, and they had 3 instock Asus Tuf RTX3080 10GB OC editions. I quickly placed my order, and drove to pick it up that same day. The remaining cards had already sold, I was told.

I've been running the card for several days now, and it hasn't skipped a beat. VR feels like a new world again, and now I can finally supersample to my heart's content, something I definitely couldn't do with my 1070. The card itself feels premium with its metal shroud and top plate. The asus gpu tweak II software allows for fine tune adjustment of the fans, memory frequency and gpu frequency, so I have been having the fans run at 50% capacity, and for everyday usage, the temp is sitting between 35-45 degrees, which is great.

I've been doing some desktop gaming on it with Elite Dangerous, everything totally maxed and it feels like the card is barely even trying. I feel safe knowing that with the new expansion for Elite Dangerous due out early next year, that this card will handle it with ease.

I'm also very excited to see that I should be able to completely max everything in Cyberpunk 2077, so during my new year holidays, I'll be having one of the best possible experiences with this card.

So all things considered, I feel very lucky to have been able to get the card I researched heavily, and have not been disappointed. Asus is a brand I absolutely trust with graphics cards, and this one looks like it'll keep me going for another 3 to 4 years.

If you want to get a 3080 get this one for real – This card is like a baby ROG TRIX Card! Looks good all metallic with the correct amount of RGB where it's needed. At 1815 MHz it produces smooth high-quality graphics while keeping it cool. During gaming, you hardly hear it. RTX On All the Time – This graphics card is absolutely amazing! It runs amazingly cool (have not surpassed 65 degrees under heavy load) and is super powerful. I have been playing Watchdogs Legion with my new card and it is amazing to see that I can play the game with RTX on and still get above 60 FPS in all circumstances. Can not wait till I get to play Cyberpunk 2077 with this card! 100% would recommend this card over other brands!
