Terrible can't get parts bought from office works been in for repair for over 40 days now and still no parts – Brought the Asus tuf gaming 27-inch monitor for my son because I thought it would be great quality and last for years less than 6 months later it crapped out it was only used on the weekends as my son visits me on the weekends took it into officeworks they sent it to the repairer I have been told two times that the parts were going to be about 10 days it's been 40 days now and we have no idea when it will be repaired but I'm told the parts will be here tomorrow but who knows I was told by staff member if I had a bought a cheaper one they would have just replaced it but because I spent money to buy an expensive one it would need to be sent away for repairs I will not buy an ASUS product again if you can't get parts in Australia then Asus needs to replace them

Purchased in for $370.

Poor Service and Support - No Firmware Updates for Mac OS X – I bought an ASUS TUF 27" WQHD IPS 165Hz Monitor from Umart for $729 for a new Macintosh Computer System. From the time I turned it on I had problems with the system not displaying a picture from startup and the Mac not waking up from sleep. Thought I had corrupted my backup system and that it was a computer fault but after 6 re-installs I took it to Apple and their in-store Samsung monitor worked perfectly.

ASUS wanted at least a month to evaluate the monitor and no one offered me a loaner, therefore I had to buy another monitor (LG brand), which worked perfectly with my new computer system. I told ASUS I wanted a refund but after 5 weeks I received an email from Umart saying to come and pick the monitor up. No report or feedback but I finally got out of Umart that ASUS had found no fault, and a refund would not be forthcoming.

I reluctantly took the monitor back but spent at least 50 hours writing a submission along with an Apple store report, as well as making a video of the incompatibility problems. Made it clear I would take legal action if I didn't get a refund. Umart has now apologised and agreed to give me a full, unconditional refund. What a relief.

I paid a Roll Royce price this ASUS computer accessory and got treated like scum. ASUS gave me no technical support and while they have firmware updates for Windows based operating systems, nothing is available for Mac OS X. No mentioned of this in the listing on the Umart site.

I will never ever buy an ASUS computer, peripheral or accessory again. Didn't do any research on ASUS but just assumed they would be good because they are a big company. I was wrong! I admit this was an unusual fault (not that uncommon though), but ASUS couldn't have been more difficult to deal with.
