ASUS Vivobook 18 M1807

I was thrilled to receive this after my previous laptop died. Using it however, not so much. It;s an 18" lap top so the keyboard area is also huge, but not very user friendly. With all that room (and $$) they avoided putting a separate number pad and Pageup/down etc. They just combined it all and then to save another $0.03 they didn't put a light on the Numlock key, so you can't tell if you are in Number mode, or PageUp/down mode. Seriously..
Then because there was so much blank space left, they used very large keys and spaced them out to fill the space better.
This was then put back close to the screen so you have to reach a long way to get to the keys.
Then to fill the space between the keyboard and the front of the work area, they added a touch pad large enough to land a small helicopter on. This means you never quite know what is going to happen because you have to move your hand - not just your fingers to use it.
End result, they probably saved a couple of dollars but rendered the keyboard and touch pad useless in terms of functionality.
Using it makes me feel like a character in Gorillas in the mist, but it's not Jane Goodall. Probably more like the designers,
I like the 18" screen.
