took it to the authorised repairer who diagnosed the issue. I was reminded that it was just out of warranty, and the motherboard had failed. Ok I thought..how much to fix? I was quoted $925 for the motherboard + labour at $121/hour. I then asked if this was normal, and was advised that the Asus motherboards fail all the time. For my own peace of mind I googled this issue. Seems common for Asus machines. I would have thought that if it's a known issue, the manufacturer would notify customers or help when it happens. Not the case here unfortunately. For context, I have 2 HP laptops, a Dell and a Macbook Pro at home for work and business. None of these have ever failed. In fact, one of the HP machines is 6 years old and works fine after a battery change last year (under $120)! No motherboard issue. No nonchalant cop-out from the manufacturer. No issues. Just hassle free machines. I won't be buying Asus again!

perfect – love this laptop, well made, nice backlit keyboard, great screen, etc. I use it everyday for work and leisure. Watch Netflix, surf the web, emailing, MS office, it does everything I need at a great price point. No negatives I can think of. Show details

Perfect Gift – Bought this notebook/laptop computer as a gift because it is the perfect size and has all the power needed by the receiver. It also had great reviews. At 15.6" the screen size is perfect, the keyboard is easy to use and the laptop is compact and good for traveling or using around the house.

It's Worth Buying For! – I acquired this Asus VivoBook, Model No. S533EA-BBQ003T on Boxing Day, 12 December 2020. I was amazed on the performance, it was beyond my expectation though the sales representative of Harvey Norman explained about the new Intel 17 11th generation processors and the separate Intel iRis graphics built into it. Best laptop ever for home use – this 15 inch laptop is very light and easy to carry. thin and stylish matt finish design. It has a very quiet fan. I love it so much. Asus is a long lasting laptop. I have used Asus motherboard and desktops as well. they are great!

This is very good and easy to set up – Bought this today, great specs great price from Harvey Norman. Also has a great cash back option form ASUS. This laptop is so quick and easy to use. So much quicker than my old laptop and has numeric keys and all. Recommend

ASUS laptop. Finally found this model within our price range. Great screen, very light, nice keyboard buttons. My only dislike is the touchpad, it doesn't seem the best quality and would prefer it to feel more responsive and not have to press so hard for the buttons to respond, so I'll be using an external mouse. But hey, for the price I wasn't expecting perfection, so overall I'm really very happy with the purchase, my son is over the moon, and of course I will continue to purchase and recommend ASUS products for their performance and reliability.

Battery life is pretty good. The main feature I don't like is the camera and could be better though. The charging is fast as well. I brought this at Harvey Norman last week. Never had an ASUS before but it is a great brand and I will be buying more for my business.

Easy set up, simple to use – Easy set up and the screen has great clarity and colours. I'm a basic user, looking for easy to use, simple layout and familiarity from previous laptop. The perfect laptop for everyday use – This laptop was purchased as my old laptop was getting too old. The 15-inch screen size is perfect for everyday use and the new 11 Gen Intel CPU makes it quick to boot and very responsive. It is light enough to be carried around and the Numpad makes it convenient for me to do office work.

quicker speed of the SSD. After the longevity of my previous ASUS laptop I look forward to this being a mainstay for many years.

Portable laptop with a large screen size at a reasonable price! – Purchased this laptop as a replacement after my old computer broke down. Been using it for all my work and presentations. needs to get used to the keyboard as the buttons are a little compressed to make space for the numeric keypad.

Great Laptop – Very stylish, light and functional. Love the keyboard and it is extremely fast with heaps of power and storage. Couldn't be happier, this is my third ASUS laptop now and will keep going back.
