Audiosonic 5.1ch HDMI DVD Player Questions

I have an Audiosonic KM3608N dvd player, everything works but the only problem is that all the voices on any dvd played sound like chipmunks! I have never experienced this with any dvd player. Can anyone please help with me get rid of this problem?

Hi RedRose I did have that brand off dvd before but i must say i had no trouble with mine at all i have an LG dvd player now but what you have described sounds very odd best advice would be to take it back where you bought it from and get your money back if its in the 12 months that you bought it otherwise best to get another one lots off brands but i find the LG the best best of luck

thanks alexander52. Its the first time that had happened with any dvd player I have owned. I have taken it back for a refund. Good to know about the LG!

Hi Kerry, I dont have that DVD player any more but i bought an LG about the same style as the one i use to own i personally havent had that problem with my DVD Audiosonic Player so cant help you there i got a question from a bloke wanting to know and on his LG DVD Player how can he increase or decrease the volume my answer is i use my Tv Remote to control Volume when iam using my DVD although it has volume control on my DVD player remote rarely use but for any volume control while watch any DVD best to use your TV Remote to control volume so along that line Kerry sounds like you have a Volume problem best if you just have bought it take it back and get a refund if its in the 12th month time best way Let me know how it works out

Hi Hawko, Personally I have had that trouble , sounds like an problem inside the unit Best advice is if you have just bought it take it back with docket off proof off purchace and take it back to where you bought it from or it its within the 12 months take it pack chances are they will swap it over or get a refund and buy another

Does this DVD Player have a pause indicator that adversely affects or ruins the view? When men watch arts documentaries, a good pause is essential.

Hello, The pause function worked alright. By the way I have already thrown my Audio sonic away because I couldn't stand the noise. I would recommend Samsung DVD player from The Good Guys. Similar price but running a lot more smoothly and quiet. Here is the website external link

The pause indicator appears on the top right part of the screen, not in the middle.

Hi I have the $39 audiosonic dvd 5.1 channel from Kmart also. It had been working fine, have kids so in the month & 1/2 had it, played alot. Today went to change dvd & put other 1 in, slow loading so my very helpful 7 yr old son banged on top of unit....aaarrgghh. Now it is constantly spinning disc inside, will not open, close or load & play. Bout to unscrew & investigate bit thought maybe id see if others have had same prob & is unscrewing it the only option. I'm a 2 hr return trip to closest Kmart or id take it back, use more in petrol than I paid.

Thanks in advance if anyone can give me help to get it open or even better working again.

Hi Meliij72! I have been through the saem situation but with a different brand. My son is 3 and he put too much strengh to Close the vdd player once and after that it was just making a noise like the vdd was being played but kind of touching something inside. At the time, my solution was to throw the device away and get a new one :( I didn't try to open it...

The only usb format that shows up is AVI. I can't play MP4s, they don't even appear in the menu. I've set up the cables for video output jack as specified in the manual. What am I doing wrong?
