Austral Rectract Away 40

Cannot recommend. Designed very poorly and doesn't tension well. To have any chance of tensioning you have to fish the line out of the end bar with pointy nose pliers and re-tie. The bracket that holds the bar for the 5 lines when pulled out is less than a quarter of the length of the bar. The result is that the bar swings in the bracket and the middle line sheared off within 8 months of purchase. Show details

Lifestyle liaised smoothly to arrange delivery of the model I wanted in my colour of choice and at no extra cost. Unfortunately there was a minor problem with the product and it was replaced under warranty. Austral were again proactive, communicating directly with me to arrange delivery and installation of my new clothes line in very quick time. I was most impressed with the customer service of both the supplier (Lifestyle) and the manufacturer (Austral). Frequent messages and phone calls meant that I was incredibly well informed during this whole process. Both companies are highly recommended.

Everytime you retract in needs retensioning – Looks great but its practicality is non existant on the retracable part . The wires never wind on the same way twice and everytime you pull it out again everyline is a different tension . just string 3mm stainless balustrade cable between the posts . Stay away if you plan on retracting after every use .

Austral retractable clothesline is helpful, easy to install, nice look – I bought Austral retractable 40 clothesline at Burning ware house, I am happy with this product - it's has a good design, easy to install, not take too much space. It's fit my purpose and suit my place
