Don't lose this card when travelling
Travel cards are supposed to safeguard against loss whilst travelling. However, if you lose this card (only one card is provided per account) a replacement takes 7 to 10 working days and you must be available to sign for it's receipt. How many travellers are able to stay in a nominated place for days on end waiting for a replacement card?
According to the Product Disclosure Statement emergency cash replacement is available änywhere in the world, normally within 20 minutes, up to the available balance". I found it took at least a day where there is a Western Union office available and then only $1000 is available per day. Another phone call on a later day to their call centre is needed to get further cash.
On top of this calls to their call centre were very unclear and often dropped out.
