Sturdy, does the job, and easy to clean – I use it for potato rosti and it was perfect for it. The strands held together in cooking much better than traditional grating. Despite being very light, the whole thing doesn't shake much during use due to good suction on the base. Note that it leaves behind a slender cylinder core of the vegetable. But that is easily diced up afterwards. My favourite feature is how easy it is to take apart and clean. There is nowhere for scraps to get stuck.

Purchased in at Matchbox for $29.95.

PERFECT FOR US – We needed to give up carbs.... so I found that zucchini noodles would be the answer. I purchased this product and wasn't sure if it would be easy to use... or whether "zoodles" would be easily adapted into our diet. Well zoodles are quick and easy to cook.... and this gadget is PERFECT. Another reviewer said it didn't work for carrots.... and I could guess that it might be harder than with my zucchini. That said.... it is easy to clean up.... and my suction cups work well (too well sometimes) .... and I am loving zoodles

Purchased in at Victoria's Basement for $19.95.

Useless piece of flimsy plastic rubbish! – If I could give this a zero rating, I would. This product does not do what it is meant to. I bought this spiraliser as the one I currently use (similar to a pencil sharpener) has become too hard for me to use due to arthritis. So I thought this would be the answer. But no! First of all the suction cups don't stick to the bench, and secondly, when trying to spiralise a carrot, the spikes are nowhere strong enough to hold the carrot, so when cranking the handle nothing happens. The only way I can get a result is to push hard on the handle whilst cranking it and this is not recommended!! An absolute useless piece of plastic rubbish, it really is too flimsy to spiralise anything. I must admit I didn't have a zucchini on hand, as of course that is a softer vegetable. I'm taking it back to Kitchen Warehouse to get my money back. But I'm expecting a fight.!
