Our business purchased a coffee machine from here. The machine has had endless issues. It has required to be shipped interstate several times, countless hours by our staff to get it functioning correctly, all without any success. Communication is poor at best, no numbers available, only via email and photos. Will not recommend, service and products not worth it. Regretful of our purchase.

Repairs, who fixed the unit. However, I reached out to Average Joe’s to request a return and refund under consumer law, as the fault was serious and occurred within the warranty period.

Since then, both my husband and I have repeatedly tried to contact them — with no response whatsoever. They’ve completely gone silent. No calls, no emails, nothing. It's incredibly frustrating and unprofessional.

After doing some digging, I’ve noticed several other recent reviews from customers experiencing the same lack of communication. It honestly makes me wonder if the business is on the verge of closing or going into liquidation.

Bottom line: buyer beware. If something goes wrong with your purchase, don’t expect support or service from this company. Very disappointing experience.

All I can say, from my experience, is be careful with this lot. Poor communication, failure to reply in a timely manner, failure to refund money that is owed. follow up emails, was told my order was fulfilled and being sent within the next day or so, nothing, no tracking no communication. I requested a refund and was told it would be done asap, that was a week ago and, nothing. Unfortunately now I have no alternative but to notify ACCC and submit a complaint, I have waited almost 3 weeks from initial order to now with zero resolution. That’s $200 lost

Have ordered from 3 times. Not sure if I will get 3rd order or not. Poor comms and slow/no delivery. Struggle to recommend. Shame because I want to support.

Placed an order, but for some reason it didn't ship. Albeit they were friendly in their reply and following the matter up, but there was no actual reason provided. probably would've been a repeat customer. I love my coffee. Unfortunately a good business requires more than just well produced social media adverts.

Also, I wrote this review on their facebook page, and it miraculously disappeared... And i'm not not able to post another review there.

I'm now starting to think the product i ordered isn't actually coming

suppliers? When they asked their supplier they said it's rare that the dosing cup wouldn't be compatible with the machine, but now after even a quick google I can see that every other coffee accessory supplier has a specific Breville compatible range which I can see would work .... I still (3 months later) don't have a replacement tamper or an answer regarding the dosing cup or a refund or any communication from them as to when / if this is getting resolved. I've followed up with emails and am now just getting no replies at all. Very low quality products and very low quality service.

Bad coffee, and ever so slightly shady business practices – Coffee is rubbish, unless you own fancy equipment, which is ironic given their name. I have the Breville Barista Express and after using the grinder on the finest setting the coffee was still way too coarse to make espresso with. They also lie on their refund policy. make a return, they insisted that I had to pay for shipping.

What's also shady is that they have "90 day money back garuntee" plastered all over their site, but their actual refund policy is only 14 days.

Great service great prices great coffee – The service levels from Matt and crew at Average Joe's is exceptional. experiences with espresso product wholesalers, mainly positive but ranging from absolutely terrible to exceptional like my experience with Average Joe's. Highly recommend these guys.
