Can’t buy extra gate extensions if needed!!! – Thought this would be great. Figured I could move it. Turns out every other brand sell extra extensions for this reason except target! They wouldn’t even refund me on same day purchase due to box being opened. I’d wish a spent a bit extra and bought somewhere else. Also for something so simple, the instructions were terrible.

Does the job! – I must counter this by adding I bought this gate to secure an Italian Greyhound puppy in the laundry so I haven't used it for children. Purchased at Target for $50 it was the cheapest one and the reviews on this site prompted me to buy it. Does the job like a charm. I was concerned the gaps between the bars might be too wide for my skinny pup but… Read more

it's fine. Door swings both ways and you cannot leave it open (unless you tied it back somehow) but I knew that before I purchased it. A warning for others using this for puppies, we first had about 1 inch of carpet exposed on the laundry side and she pulled a thread and unravelled that part of the carpet completely. Suffice to say we have now moved it back an inch. The instructions are not in the small cardboard box containing the screws etc - we found them floating around in the box AFTER we'd put it together. Cheap - does the job for small dogs. Cannot leave the door open if required

Great product that works, cheapest in the stores and easy to pressure mount – I had an Extra Tall First Years brand gate which I gave away as the kids are older so I bought this for our dogs as an alternative and to my surprise it works the same and stays in place, but half the price of branded gates. No tools needed to mount the gate (unless you are screwing into your walls the extra cup supports the pressure mount sits in… Read more ·  2

- but this is not needed unless you have strong kids or heavy dogs) as the adjustment knobs are made to tighten by hand unlike other brands. Comes with 2 extensions. The height of gate is not advertised which is 75cm tall. I am using for a medium size dog and keeps her from trying to get out or knock over the gate. The brand is Target Essentials not Babyclub Price, easy to use and easy to mount, no tools needed, comes with 2 extensions None

Great gate – Very inexpensive for the cost of the gate (>$50). Comes with the extenders and is metal. Does swing closed and locks behind you, but that can be a little noisy (ideally that's what we wanted as we have a dog). Excellent for the price couldnt find one cheaper with the same features. Easy to use

good babygate on a budget – These baby gates are great for anyone on a budget and dont want to spend heaps of money on baby items. The gate comes with 2 extension pieces, which is great, some baby gates you have to buy the extension pieces. The gate can be alittle annoying when you want the gate to remain open but it automatically closes unless you pin it back with… Read more

something, i.e. chair, heavy book. But the gate does it job of keeping my toddler at bay and out of parts of the house he's not allowed. Yet the gate is easy enough to use that my 4 year old has no problems opening and closing the gates on her own. cheap and does the job automatically closes, which is annoying at times.

pretty good – this is a good basic baby gate, it is spring loading so it spring back after to goe thru which sometimes is a good thing but other time when you have to go in and out can be annoying. it fit in the normal internal door way but not with the extendards and with out them the screw are out very far. basic and cheap and works. wont stay open and always closes after no the best when going in and out heaps when bubba asleep and you wanna leave it open.

Good – Very good quailty product that had very good instructions and was very easy to install. Comes with 2 extension sections so fits lots of different spaces. Has very good soild lock system and you also have to lift up the gate after unlocking so its a 2 part system. My 4 year old still can't open it. Was very well priced to compared to other gates on… Read more

Good – I bought this gate at one of the target baby sales for $30, just to use to keep the dogs out and baby in, thinking it wouldn't be the best quality and only using it as a back up barrier, too my surprise it was one of the most solid and lightweight baby gates I had come across, so I went and bought another one and threw my other brand out (as it… Read more

was a pain to open) this gate can be opened one handed (just takes some getting use to) its very easy to wipe clean (unlike wooden ones) quite impossible for a toddler to open unless they have very good fine motor skills to pull the button across and pull at the same time. Good quality, low price Takes time to adjust to make the latch line up, but that's the same with most gates

Yay! – We bought this gate to keep our small-medium sized dog out of the loungeroom. Bought this for $40 at Target; very reasonably priced I thought! I must say it wasn't very difficult at all to install it. the product comes with holding cups that you can screw onto the wall/doorway to increase the sturdiness of the placement of the safety gate - we… Read more

live in a rental property so didn't use them, but it was perfectly fine anyway. The extension pieces may come in handy when we move into another place.

We would prefer if we could manually disable or enable the spring in the gate hinge - sometimes we want to give our dog free access and so we have to now put a chair to hold the gate open inexpensive, sturdy, easy assembly Can't seem to disable the spring in the gate hinge
