Razelle was great and happy to help with the issue I had. Thankyou.
I purchased a baccarat tempcontrol kettle 3.5 months ago. It recently showed an error. I emailed Baccarat with my issue. I got a reply and instructions on how to proceed. Can’t thank Razelle enough for her help and communication to get a replacement. Have just received replacement in just over a week after contacting. Very happy with how easy, fast and no fuss it was. Thanks again Razelle!!
Love our kettle. We purchased 10 months ago then had a fault. I contacted the company and received a prompt response from ‘Sheen’. After providing a short video of the issue, Sheen organised a replacement which arrived the following day. Very happy with after sales support and our new kettle Show details
It worked ok boiling water albeit slower than our old kettle, but it was so noisy . Cant imaging how loud it would get after a few years. The assessing water level bothered us, as we had a clear glass container before . So , disappointed, we are donating it to a charity and going back to find one that hopefully is not loud . You never know until you get it home . Show details
We got a faulty kettle and asked for the help from Sheen. He was so helpful and got us a replacement in a short time. Much appreciated.
Not turning off – Bought this kettle (black)in April but didn't use it until kitchen was finished at end of June. Was working. Suddenly decided not to shut off when boiled. Temperature light works intermittently. Only had 4 months use as we've been out of the house for 5 weeks. Not impressed as they are not a cheap kettle. Let's see if warranty is honoured. Show details
thermostat issue – Brought this kettle around 1 year ago, used 2-3 times per day. No longer turns off when reaching boiling point, have to turn off a the plug, dangerous. Show details
Another Great Product from Baccarat – I have owned this kettle for almost a year now & have had no issues. I previously had the Cuisinart Temp Control kettle that just stopped working (wouldn’t boil) after I paid $250! It took me some time & a lot of research before risking buying another temperature controlled kettle. I had read reviews that said the ink had worn off rather quickly… Read more
on the Baccarat kettle buttons, & that due to the kettle not having a water display panel people had boiled it dry a few times destroying the kettle. Which made me hesitant about buying one. To combat the ink button issue I simply peeled of the clear plastic button protector & trimmed it down to size (so the temperature display wasn’t covered by the plastic) & I haven’t had any problems with “vanishing buttons”. And, we just simply check the water level before boiling. It boils super fast, and is much quieter than other brands.
Temp control kettle without the 50 buttons – Despite my wife disagreeing about the benefits of temperature control features on kettles, we landed on this Baccarat temp control kettle. My wife did not want multiple buttons for temp selection. Why make the simple task of heating water any more complicated. This kettle design fixes that by having it set at 100deg by default, and 1 button to… Read more
toggle through and select lower temps.
Good feature, boils water...but that's why we bought it. Aesthetics...but that's a personal thing. Cord wraps under base plate. Water temp is displayed.
Bad things The 'power on' and 'temp' buttons seem to be ink printed. The 'on' button has faded (less than 2 months of use). Iffy things Occasionally it gives the impression that it shuts off before hitting 100deg. This is probably more about the thermostat delay in sending and displaying the temp vs the responsiveness of the shut of feature. I think offering 2 or 3 clipping points for the cord, (base plate cord tidy feature) would allow better 'tuning' of that length. No water gauge, but I suspect that is consistent with the minimal look.
It's hard for me to get excited about a kettle, but.....
no I'm not going to say it...
it does the job. That's OK.
