No coatings are applied to the internal components of the toaster. All other parts—particularly those that come into contact with food—are made from stainless steel and metal. I can't believe this $120 toaster has the SAME crumb removal mechanism as the dangerous, garbage Anko toaster. Instead of a trapdoor, it just has a slider that allows you to remove SOME crumbs from the bottom. But it leaves others in there. This is a recipe for large crumbs to get stuck, risking a fire and soon a fault that makes it impossible to push the toaster down. Unbelievable and shameful !
