Band-Aid Advanced Healing Blister Block

Will actually delay the healing process – Beware of Johnson & Johnson 'Advanced Healing' band-aid strips. These strips come in silver boxed packaging at around 2.5 times the price of regular band-aid strips. Emblazoned across the front of the box is 'ADVANCED HEALING' .....this is about the last thing they could be accused of! They are designed not to breath and as a consequence seal the wound which remains damp and will continue to 'weep' as long as the strip is left in place on the skin. After 4 days other small wounds around the one this advanced healing strip was applied to healed to the point were there was little more than a bit of scarring. The wound the strip was applied to, when removed, had not started to heal in any way and the whole covering process has had to start over again....definitely not with another 'advanced healing' strip!

The strips are nothing more than a marketing strategy and their use will not in any way be beneficial to the healing process....in fact all they will do is delay it!

It should be mandatory for products like this to be independently tested and approved for the purpose before being allowed onto an unsuspecting market. Save you money and give these Johnson & Johnson Advanced Healing strips a big miss, you will be much better off!

Bad packaging – The box doesn't tell you what exactly the size is. Only Regular/Large size, not even a number. How can i know what regular size is? This is so confusing. Now i have to spend another 10 bucks because of that. Thanks but I will spend on some other brands who tells you what the size is.

Amazing protection and healing – If you use this blister block before wearing new shoes, you're likely not to get a blister in the first place. If you already have a blister, put one of these band-aids on, leave on for 3 days (maybe less) and when you take it off, it will look like you never had a blister in the first place!! Does exactly what it promises on the packaging. It will stay perfectly in place, even after showering, until you're ready to take it off.
