A few of years ago i bought a Bauhn tablet at an Aldi store in South East Melbourne. It hasn't worked for almost 2 years now. I took it to see what was wrong and they said the battery was dead, completely unable to be charged. Is there somewhere I could get a new battery for it? The repair store I took it to said none of their suppliers have the type of battery used by this product. It's model number is WL-101GQC. Any advice would be good. Thank you.

I get exactly the same result. This means, I cannot use the machine for anything at all.

I would suggest contacting Tempo support 1300 886 649 I had a AT HK 97 Tablet that was a write off after much hassle they admitted this and gave me a refund

Sorry. I don't know. I just use the tablet for it's range of minimal options. There's not enough memory for much else.
My husband and I purchased two 9.7 android tablet. We downloaded a few games and it says insufficient storage. We purchased a 32gb SD card and downloaded two more games and it still says insufficient storage. Can you help please thanks?
I returned my 9.7 Bauhn to Aldi as mine crashed when they send me a SD card to do a download. Most unhappy with it and love my Negus 7 which I bought instead. Sorry I can't help, maybe you could return them?
Hi Maz I also have the same tablet as you & have downloaded a few games. I brought a 32gb card & it wont let me download games onto it or transfer games I already have either. if you go into your apps It doesn't give you the option to transfer to sd card. My kids have a Kmart $69 tablet & you can transfer games to card on theres. I have tried searching the net for answers but cant really find anything relevant. I have no idea what to do either. ive had mine about 6 mths & thrown box out so probably cant get a refund. Apart from the sd card problem its not a bad tablet. Suggestions from people would be greatfully appreciated, thanks
How come it takes hours to charge but it discharges within 2 hours?!!!!!!
I know what you mean but I got so frustrated with mine, it crashed after they send me an update with a SD card that I returned it to Aldi. No problem returning it. I now have a Google Negus which is really good. Good luck with it. You could always ring their support line I suppose.

I returned my Tablet to Aldi as I had so much trouble. Tempo the support ? group send me an update on a SD card and the Tablet crashed after that. Did not feel they were very informative or helpful really. I guess you could contact them and see what they say. I am getting another brand now as I really do not wish to deal with that support group again. Aldi themselves very good about returning. Good luck Ingrid. Sorry I can't help.

I rang Bauhn support and they said it was something to do with Android. My system needed the update and they were sending it to me. Still waiting. Its supposed to fix it.

Hi there, my husband and I are thinking of getting the Brauhn 8" dual core Android tablet 16gb for our 9 year old for Christmas. It will only be used for playing games like Minecraft. Is this tablet highly recommended for this usage? We are fed up with buying items that either have poor picture quality, rubbish sound system or just won't do what they are supposed to. Hi Anita, so sorry for the late response. I really don't know anything about the 8 inch tablet. Mine is the 9.7 inch and graphics are quite good but the speaker no longer functions and I have to use headphones if I want audio.
I purchased the 8" Android Dual Core 3G Tablet, inserted the Telstra pre-paid SIM and a 32Gb SD card, and downloaded apps, including Kobo and Kindle. So far, so good. I downloaded an ePub book from my PC on to the SD card, only to find that when I try to open it the tablet tells me that the format is unsupported. If I log on to Kobo (where I purchased the book in the first place), I can read the book, but that defeats the purpose of having books downloaded for reading wherever and whenever.
I'm having the same trouble with a music file in wma format, which is also unsupported.
Can someone tell me what files are supported on the Bauhn tablet? Thanks.
Hi, I think there is an Epub converter app on Google Play. If you download that I think you will find it works OK.
Can i install windows on the tablet?or microsoft office?
Hi, no you can't install another operating system on the tablet. It runs android and therefore microsoft office can't be installed either. However, there are a few apps that are similar to microsoft office that are free and some you can pay for. I bought one and love it, it's easy to use like MS office.

Hi there, as there is no sim in the tablet you can use it anywhere. I just connected up to WiFi where-ever I was (even in Thailand). You can put your own sim in and use it as a phone as well if you wish.
