A terrible product – My work involves using all these power tools all day. This is the worst tool I have ever used. Too heavy to operate and vibrates a lot. Chain is always coming loose, you have to stop to tighten it pretty much after every cut also it doesn't cut very clean probably because of not having enough power and the vibration. I would not recommend this tool to anyone

Purchased in at Edisons for $319.

Ideal for people on a tight budget and value for the low price – Bought mine about 2 years ago. At first glance it was a little heavy but that just makes it more solid and good for heavy duty use. I have used it for heavy slashing long grass and big weeds and also light duty trimming with ease. Always started easily even if only used 1 or 2 times a month. Over winter I emptied the petrol tank and when I went to start it after several months the fuel line and filter had perished so make sure you purchase extra fuel line sets (2 hoses, filter and gromet complete) 2 things I would change is make the instructions a bit easier to understand/ more in depth as they left me confused and some of the accessories/ attachments supplied I had no idea what they were supposed to be used for. Overall, I am impressed with the quality and build my unit and have also purchased a chainsaw of this make which I will leave a review after I used it more.

Purchased in at Edisons for $269.

BRUSHCUTTER CUTS WELL – Purchased on line from Edison’s, Mills Brands Pty Ltd PO Box 6016 Chullora NSW 1405 Australia Baumr-AG 65CC Brushcutter Model: BCX720 Whipper Snipper Trimmer Brush Cutter Multi Pole Tool Price $229. Free shipping This is my first brushcutter bought to cut thousands of “Dog bushes” and Sifton bushes that have multiplied madly due to all the good rains this year. There’s a number of choices of this model based on the number of cutters you want. I took 7.

PROS: Easy to assemble with some parts already assembled. A variety of cutting blades for different purposes and size of stems to be cut. Good length. Not too heavy. Cuts reasonably well. Seems to be fairly economical to run. Comes with personal safety gear.

CONS: No hard copy manual in the box - it is on line. No indication as to which cutter is for which purpose. Easy to cross thread the cap on both the fuel tank and the supplied fuel mixing bottle. So they then leak. Could be a bit heavy for me as I get older. I find it difficult to get the shoulder strap to the correct length to make it easier on my arms and hands.

On the whole, it seems to be a useful tool. It remains to be seen how long a life any given blade will have.

RECOMMENDATION: At this stage having used it on a couple of patches of “Dog bush“ of varying age and size, I consider it suitable for my main purpose. Seems to be a fair buy and reasonable value for money. I’ll update the review in 6 months or so time.

Piece of Junk – I bought this on Ebay from a company called Edisons. It only started twice and it took at least 20 goes, the cord jams and the choke box fell off and got lost. The harness is useless making it excessively heavy. This brush cutter is poorly made with bad quality material. The company is in denial and impossible to deal with.
