A must for warm winter school lunches – B.box’s lunch products boast excellent design and quality - and their food jar is no exception. rather than fill out a whole bento box and all its compartments. I usually pair the food jar with the b.box snack box, filled with crackers and fruit or other lunch goodies, and it’s a healthy lunch to go.

Pros - Excellent at keeping food hot. I haven’t timed it, but no complaints about cold lunches from Little Miss! I’ve also used the food jar myself and it certainly keeps lunches at a good temperature. - Large handles and round food jar makes it easy for kids to handle. - Fairly lightweight. - Robust and easy to clean. I just put ours in the dishwasher. - Great for soup and rice or noodle dishes. I also use it for baked goods like chicken nuggets or mini pasties… just dry the inside of the jar thoroughly after pre-heating it with boiling water. (Baked goods won’t be super crispy but at least they’ll be warm.)

Cons - The outside can rust. I didn’t know the base was removable and had been washing it attached to the food jar. When I realised you could remove it, there was a bit of rust left behind that I haven’t been able to scrub off.
