3rd repair in 14 months – The product is good in use, however since our purchase 14 months ago the oven was malfunctioning for more then 7 months and was repaired 3 times. Waiting time for part is about 2 months. Beko is not willing to replace as it is "repairable ' . I will will be thinking 3 times before buying another item from Beko

Looks and cooks great but 'unusual' operating panel – We’ve had this oven for a few weeks now. It looks great in the kitchen and so far, cooks really well. The controls are easy enough to figure out once you study the manual and the slide trays are awesome. Unfortunately, that’s where it stops… Here we go: 1) When I installed the oven I noticed the door didn’t line up with the top glass control panel. Somehow in production the panel was assembled on an angle. Luckily, the store we bought it from have arranged for a Beko technician to come out and realign the panel (by taking the oven apart I assume) . Interestingly, the store checked their same model Beko oven on display discovering it had the same issue and the technician will be fixing theirs as well…
2) The actual ‘power on’ button can be hard to see as the attractive dark cover-glass seems to mask it too well. Once discovered it’s not too bad but for new people they can’t find it. In fact, most of the buttons on the right side of the rotating knob are also near impossible to see unlike images of the oven on the web which shows them clearly visible. I’m talking specifically here about the ‘Time and Settings’ key, the ‘Temperature Setting’ key, the ‘Alarm’ key and the ‘Cooking Start/Stop’ key. I think we have a dud oven because I reckon they should illuminate when the oven is powered on and ours don’t and I’ll be raising this with Beko very soon.
3) The ‘alarm’ tone is so soft you can’t hear it unless you are alongside the oven – walk 4m away and you won’t hear a thing. It can be adjusted as per the manual but it’s still very soft and imo, totally useless. Again, maybe we have a dud oven so Beko can explain this.
Hopefully these things can be sorted out and we have a perfect oven soon. The review will be updated once Beko sort out the above.
The date is 28/2/23 and I now have an update on this oven:
We were recently supplied with a brand new oven from Beko which thankfully, is not out of alignment (i.e. the glass control panel). The light issue we discovered has to do with where your kitchen lights aim - if they are overhead you can't see those control buttons but if you shine a torch on the panel they stand out - a real shame that most kitchen lights are overhead.... Anyway, this model oven still cooks really well so we love it after all the dramas we went through. Oh, the soft alarm isn't a big deal as you can hear it okay if the TV volume is down.
Purchased in at Betta Home Living for $1,250.
