Very happy with my monitor – I've had mine for many years now and it's never given me an ounce of problem. The images are so clear and the quality great. I have a far bigger and more expensive monitor connected to the same computer but I still prefer to put my graphic work on the BENQ as it's much sharper and clearer to work with. Show details
have had mine for years – i have had mine for years and mine works perfectly have not had a problem with it i have used with many computers.
Not good value – Good price, good picture, worked well while it lasted. Problem is it only lasted two years then died. Unacceptable. Whilst the price was good it wasn't that much cheaper than other models and for it to last such a short period of time means that in the end it was a waste of money. Picture Longevity
Excelllent – I've had the same monitor for quite a few years now and it has worked great. Never had any problems, until more recently, but with age comes wear. I intend to get a new monitor, but would prefer one just like this one I have now. I believe the monitor was a good price, though it came with a fully built computer. Reliable, inexpensive, long lasting.
Good – I also bought mine from shopping square, but the unit is a great buy at the price. and believe you me its worth getting a video card that can handle HDMI. This is a quality unit at a very reasonable price and I read a great editors review in a PC mag that's why I bought it. I bought this monitor as I needed HDMI to watch my high def video. 16x9 screen and 1920 x 1080 format just perfect for my video. It was easy to assemble and gived great definition. Has menu side buttons and tiny speakers which I don't use but at least they are there! Side buttons can be a bit fiddly but changing the various formats HDMI,DVI,D-sub is pretty easy, just press the side button one you find it. No added USB sockets.
The menu to adjust contrast etc was a bit fiddly but the instructions that came with the monitor got me there in the end.
Good – I bought this to replace a Dell 1704fpt Ultrasharp monitor. My requirements were 1) minimum resolution 1920x1080, i.e. full high-definition and 2) DVI and D-Sub (VGA) inputs as I use it to switch between two development PCs. This was the best-value monitor I could find ($234 from ShoppingSquare) meeting these requirements. I've had it for three… Read more
weeks and am really happy with it so far.
A few minor gripes:
- switching between DVI and D-Sub inputs, something I do alot is tedious, involves navigating the menus, whereas it was one-touch on my Dell monitor.
- there's no vertical/height adjustment. I don't need it but HDMI input might come in handy.
- I don't need it but my old Dell had a 2x USB hub.
- it seems a little less robust then my old Dell. Full high-definition 1920x1080 in 16:9 format, great value for money No vertical/height adjustment, no HDMI input, switching between DVI and D-SUB is tedious, a bit flimsy, no USB
