Bissell Steam Shot 2635F

My daughter bought a Bissell Steam Shot to use in the bathroom. Quite frankly, I consider this product dangerous. The attachment would unlock from the hose constantly, leaving users exposed to the potential of steam burns. I have used various brands over the years, but this is the first I have found where the attachment lock mechanism is so unreliable. Disappointing.
Purchased in at Bissell Online Store for $109.
Works really well for cleaning out grout, bathrooms, stove tops, window tracks and sills etc – Only issue we had with this is the grout brush was destroyed on the first use, all the bristles all flattened on it when applying just a small amount of pressure to "scrub" the grout so to speak while using the steam. Otherwise would get a 5 star. You would expect a brush for grout to be reasonly tough.. Otherwise jobs we've done with it and been beyond impressed:
Cleans out grout so easily, seriously just for this alone I would buy it.
Cleans out inside showers like the silastic and caulking. We had some discolouration in the silastic in one of our showers and this cleared that up. Was able to use to easily remove leftover cauling on the chrome finish outside the shower builder had missed cleaning up.
Cleans all around the bathroom, around sinks, around corners of the room, bath tub etc. No more marking or stained sinks.
Cleans stove and oven beyond anything had before. Like you know the black cover bits on the gas stove always ends up with that layer of crap? This stripped this off with minimal brushing while "steaming". Removed all the discolouration under the burners and cleaned the burners themselves of a years worth of stuck on brown crap no issues.
Otherwise as well just handy as anything to have. Got something stuck and dont want to pull off paint or do damage? Grab the steam shot! Stuck on food on baking dishes? Steam shot does the job!
