Do not buy – It was repaired under warranty less than six months after installation. RHS both elements not working. LHS both elements not working now and out of warranty. Blanco are now saying it was installed incorrectly and not vented enough. Seriously it is a flush mount cooktop, if it isnt designed to be put into a bench top it shouldnt be sold in Aus. Really, really disappointed with my purchase and would not consider Blanco again.

To start with I loved it but then – To start with I loved it, but after 2 years half the stove top didnt work. Trying to find someone that could fix it took awhile then it took over 6 weeks for the parts to come. and it cost about half the cost of a new one. Now about 0ne month ago the same thing happened, at least this time there was someone who new what he was doing and it only took a few days for the parts but it still cost half the price of a new one

OK – Looks good and certainly performs better than a standard ceramic. It does have some issues with intermittent switch offs. The issue which the other reviewer noted around when you have alot of the plates on some turn down, I think this is not a necessarily "fault" per se, but a limitation due to the power output. there is only so much power it can output for the entire unit and we have found you can not have three plates on all on high at once. Not really an issue for us as we don't often need three plates on at once leave alone needing them all on high. My biggest issues is the "clicking" noise when the plates are on power 4 or less. we have had the tech out and there is nothing they can do, apparently its a "feature".

would I buy it again - probably not, I'd pay more and go for Bosch or Miele Great temp control easy to clean clicking noise when on power 4 or less - really annoying
