Blanco BODE266X

Blanco BODE 26X or BODE266X – My oven is a BODE 26X however Big Wharehouse keeps quoting for a BODE 266X. Because the parts are expensive I dont want to make a mistake. I like my oven however the clock time has failed so the bottom oven doesnt work. So far the quote to replace will total $645. I would understand if the clock is made in Switzerland but suspect it comes from Asia somewhere. Next oven is going to be a simple as I can get. Up to now has been reliable. Spare parts cost. $65 for a function knob!
The bomb! – We purchased this house 4 years ago, the oven we assume is as old as the house (5 years). Wife was opening the door to remove a small dish from the top oven and the glass door facia just fell off. We attempted to purchase a new one but can only find a few suppliers for Blanco parts on the net, have emailed 1 and phoned another in NSW but have recieved nothing back as to whether they can supply the part or not.
One web site states this part is no longer available and put a price close to $500 for it when available.
They have quoted nearly $300 for the stainless steel handle, thank god we saved that.
The Blanco web site has a redirection to obtain Your local parts dealers name but this dosn't work??
Hope our insurance company will come to the party.
Temp was never accurate, little rubber covers over the buttons fell off and were never seen again
