trash oven – This oven was installed in my home which I purchased new some 8 yrs ago. It is fan forced with no option to turn off the fan, as a result, food burnt and raw on the inside.. The light bulb blows out regularly and this morning I discovered that the element has fallen into the oven. I would never purchase a Blanco product again, like others I hope I… Read more

can find another better product for replacement without having to compromise my work bench. Wish me luck.If anyone out there has purchased a replacement of another brand which fits existing dimensions I would appreciate your feedback.

Dont buy – We have one of these Blanco ovens in our 5 year old home. I am told it is a tradies oven, in other words cheapest thing home builders can put in there when they build and sell a house. In that time we have had 3 people come out to fix our Blanco oven. Most frustrating when you only use it maybe once a week, so its hardly actually worn out is it.… Read more

Stay away from this nasty unreliable brand, we are now throwing it out and looking to buy some thing better (hopefully)

Two parts broken over 4 years – This is a very small oven with little functionality, doesn't cook that evenly. One time it set off the electricity safety switch, and when we flicked the switch back on and the oven back on, there was no longer any heat. Therefore we thought it was the fan heating element, and we tried replacing it. We got a spare at mrappliance.com and then… Read more

it was fine. I recommend this rather than getting a whole new oven! When we were thinking of replacing it with a new oven almost no new oven will fit this space - it's that tiny, so we were happy with replacing the part.

It has now broken again, and I'm yet to figure out what the problem is ... that's what prompted me to write this review as I was searching for parts again and the product review website came up.

It's particularly concerning as we don't use it that heavily. Works most of the time broken twice

A part comes loose and makes lots of noise – A part of the cooling fan around the oven comes loose and it makes a lot of noise. I have had to take the oven out to fix it back twice over the 4 years, the first time barely a year after it was installed. I think it's lousy in quality given that we rarely use it. It works fine otherwise, but I cannot accept such a quality. Works as an oven most of the time. Part came loose on multiple occasions. Frustrating.

Never have a Blanco BSO60 installed – We live in a Retirement Village which was completed in December 2011. There are 51 units here and up until now[January 2013] there have been 12 complaints/service calls during that time. Some owners having 2-3 calls in less than 6 months. There are at the moment, 2 units who have had their 3rd. oven installed and 'horror of horrors' they are still… Read more

having problems!

Problems range between thermostats and elements 'burning out', to uneven cooking because of the in-efficiencyof the fan etc.etc.Because all of the Blanco products, eg.oven, gas hotplates, rangehood & dishwasher were purchased by the company who built the retirement village, we are unable to give any details requested below, ie. price, where purchased and when.

Thermostat defective in less than 12 mnths. And then again replaced in the next 12 mnths.

Do not buy Blanco – Broke just out of warranty period, the after sales care you get from the nominated service centre in Victoria and Blanco themselves is the worst I have ever experienced. This oven has hardly ever been used, cooks unevenly, small and cheaply made, now not working. Don't do it to yourself! Most disappointing 'Euro' brand ever What was right with it?

An oven is a oven... Right? – We have this oven in our rental property and we've lived with it and its tyranny since early 2012... We've had an issue with the oven not cooking or heating, you would stick a roast in on a Sunday arvo and set the timer and keep going with other things... 20mins later you check the roast and to my delight - roast is still raw as it came off… Read more

Marie's little Lamb! We've had the sparkie replace the thermostat once and it worked for 2 weeks until it happened again - put in chips and a pie for a quick meal on Saturday before I had to go out - viola 20 mins later "cold"...

Now I cant replace it myself nor can I smash it to pieces - It has been such a temperamental piece of trash that you need to ensure that it works prior to cooking or baking - this means preheating prior to organising dinner which is a huge waste of electricity!

Do yourself a favour, dont buy Blanco of any sort! Get a few bricks and build a garden oven before you buy a Blanco wall oven! Nil - came with the rental. Possibly the cheapest products for a rental house. Doesnt warm up - has let me down quiet a few times, even after being professionally fixed...

Good – Blanco have a good reputation for ovens and I must admit, this oven works brilliantly. I have no issues with the unit and when I cooked my roast in it it was cooked brilliantly. The oven wasn't really expensive either I paid only $680 for the unit at an Appliance Store in Adelaide. Normally they retail for $899 at most large retailers. Oven… Read more ·  1

interior is easy to clean as well. Easy to use, fan forced oven cooks evenly and the grill is relatively even with the temperature as well. The oven is a bit too small, although still larger than a Miele.

Good to see it go – Time never worked (seems to be a recurring problem). Stopped working altogether after 2 years.Awkward to use despite lack of functionality. Err , the grill works sometimes Stopped working 4 months after the 2 year warranty
