Terrible Tap and Terrible Service – We installed a Blanco Culina kitchen tap in our new house, and it was a massive disappointment. The tap barely worked, only trickling water from the beginning. It took Blanco weeks to address the issue, leaving us without a usable kitchen tap. When they finally sent someone, they refused to fix or replace it, blaming the builder, plumbers, and… Read more

water supply instead. I regret purchasing this tap and will avoid Blanco products in the future due to their poor customer service and unreliable product.

Shocking tap waste of money – Since we purchased this tap we have had numerous problems with the Chrome peeling off it cuts ur hands. Excellent Product – Update Sep 2023: We have had 2 minor problems, both *quickly and easily* resolved by Blanco service. 1) a piece of plastic decorative trim fell off, would not stay glued on, and got replaced. 2) chrome peeling off the plastic nozzle as another reviewer complained about. The new nozzle (received quickly) looks like solid metal - good on Blanco… Read more ·  1

for upgrading product problems.

After a few weeks use I cannot comment on potential long term issues, if any, but it is an excellent tap in every respect. If there is a nit the magnetic feature that holds the head onto the arm takes getting used to, to avoid knocking it off. On the other hand the tap+spray is brilliantly easy to use because of that.

Our handle is mounted to the right and if using the left hand to operate the handle it is possible to pinch a finger in the mechanism if not paying attention. The main and spray patterns both seem perfect. Workmanship, seems top quality. Flow rate is in the region of water saving at only 4.5lpm (6-stars) that caused some worries but there is more than enough flow although filling a large sink does take an extra few minutes compared to a 4 or 5 star product.

Bottom line is I love it. Related news is when we purchased it we were advised there is an updated model coming out hence sharp close-out pricing. According to the salespeople the new model will have an 'open' spring like most of the competitors but otherwise be the same.

This tap is great! – Had this tap installed about a month ago. Highly recommend. So great to use. I actually enjoy washing the dishes now. The brushed finish is good has you don't have to worry about water marks. Show details

Fabulous stylish tap – I think it's beautiful to look at unlike a lot of the high end sink mixers that we saw that look like they belong in a commercial kitchen. It's quite expensive for a tap but after having had the pullout taps (3 different ones) that rely on rubber or plastic rings to keep the insert up which fail miserably in no time, I would rather spend the money… Read more

on something not only beautiful for my new kitchen, but also with a 10 year warranty so I know I will get longevity out of it. It's really well made and solid in the hand unlike some. The magnetic catch is stronger than you think and you can place the tap lower into the sink and it still catches the spiral to the magnet. The only other one we saw that didn't rely on rubber or plastic was one where you actually slot the hand held into its cradle which I found cumbersome.

My only criticism is that the chrome coating on the base of the sprayer is over plastic and it started peeling away within months. However, when I contacted Blanco and provided proof of purchase and photos of the damage they immediately had a plumber come and replace it for me so all happy!

I understand they need to keep the weight down hence the plastic, but perhaps aluminum might be better?

Anyway, we'll see how the replacement stacks up.
