Blanco OE908TX

BLANCO 90cm wall oven – I have never had such a shocking oven in my 55 years of cooking! It may be wide but not high or deep. The sliding shelves are dangerous and useless. Cakes take twice as long to cook. Everything burns on the sides and back while front is not even cooked. Have already changed oven once, this ones no better. It's way too small as you can't use the bottom of the oven.

Can only use 2 shelves and not enough height for a roast with both in, have to cook the veggies separately.

I am going to replace it with an oven from ebay...anything but Blanco!

Didn't replace oven just kept on using & grumbling THEN IT BROKE DOWN !!! Just 4 years old.

Then to add insult to injury the BLANCO DISHWASHER BROKE DOWN AS WELL!! 2 weeks later.

Now I have an Asko double oven & a dishwasher from ebay & love both. NOTHING EVERY THING

Great oven - Self cleaning – We had a Blanco oven previously in our rental and it was really good except it was only 600mm(W). So we thought why not stick with what we are happy with when renovating our kitchen. That was now 21/2 years back and this oven is simply fantastic. It heats extremely fast which is great for energy efficiency. The cavity cooling fan keeps the outside from overheating. It looks good, simple and minimalistic. Cooks like a dream and keeps an even temperature and best of all is the fact it is self cleaning which is a godsend. I have friends with 900mm ovens made from other manufacturers and they seem to be smaller internally whereas ours has plenty of width for even our biggest roast dishes. The previous Blanco oven had problems with the rubber seal that broke however it seem Blanco has fixed this because you can see the seal is much more substantial and the clip that holds it is much more secure. My sister has the older BOSE902X and she swears by it saying she would never change but I don't think hers is self cleaning. All in all this OE908TX is an oven that I would recomend to those that want a good quality self cleaning oven, particularly if you use it on a daily bases like we do. Self Cleaning works so well and makes life easy. Never misses a beat A bit expensive although works as well if not better than other high end appliances
