Blaupunkt BP500USG9500 (50")

What brand did I purchase Blaupunkt or EKO??? – Thought I was purchasing a blaupunkt tv from office Works which is the name on the frame but when turned on the tv is an EKO brand from BigW??????? So confused Looks like they have mixed the two brands in the factory???? THIS WAS VERY PAINFUL TO SET UP, MISSED PUTTING THE AERIAL IN THE SOCKET THEN SPENT AN HOUR TRYING TO FIND THE DIGITAL TUNING TAB..... Now working ok 4hrs on....Great Bluetooth remote...Do not like all the paid programs that come up in the menu for stan Disney etc when i dont want to purchase these ......Feeling like should not have brought this after reading the reviews ...... time will tell.

Useless – Bought this Tv from Officeworks....looked good, good price point although I had read a few bad reviews I decided to give them a try...Three months into it it starts freezing up...only way to fix it is to pull the plug from the wall and restart...not the biggest problem in the world, but as I'm in a wheelchair and non ambulant, this can prove a bit of a problem as I can't get to the plug....Took the tv back to Officeworks where I was informed that they can only repair...This tv has bought me nothing but grief and anxiety for 7 months...staring at a frozen screen for 7 hours until someone can come and restart isn't pleasant.... explained all this to Officeworks and said I'm happy with a refund or a replacement....was told to email the company and explain....upon doing that and explaining the situation was told to do the usual factory reset (which i found a little odd as I never mentioned a model number to them)...have done that 4 times per the instruction manual...apparently there is no room for a replacement or refund...only repair....totally over this TV...and even worse is their attitude towards the issue and the problem....this TV has caused me sooo much anxiety....and really don't want to look at it anymore...but no...only repair....pathetic....steer way clear of this junk....
