Extremely dissatisfied – DO NOT BUY THESE PRUNERS. Did not used these much before they seized closed, now can't get them to open. (I have seen other reviews since stating the same issue. Just been advised by Bosch that because I brought my pruners on ebay (new) the warranty is voided! Extremely poor customer service Bosch, won't be buying any more of your products. Also fair warning, THE SPRING IS NOT A REPLACEABLE PART

Bosch standards have slipped with this product – Have used Easy Prune about 6 times over 2 years around the house on fairly light duties and it has fallen apart. Given the low price for the product, it is not worth getting a quote for repair. I contacted Bosch for a list of spare parts and there are only 5 items, mainly chargers and blade. Given this was to be a ‘throw away’, I decided to open… Read more

the secateurs to see what had failed. Basically there were 3 plastic support points which had broken and were clearly under engineered for the job. My next move will be to try a cheap Chinese version of the product. At least if they fail, I will only lose about one third as much.

Not going to last 25 years – Purchased the Gardena premium bypass secateurs, and less than a year into the 25 year warranty period the screw holding the two halves fell out somewhere when pruning, meaning a complete failure of the product.. Contacted Gardena spare parts to inquire how I could purchase a replacement screw from their spares parts section. Was told to order it… Read more

through ‘Bunnings’ special orders (part number provided) and that there is a 4 week wait for part to come from overseas, as it is a warranty claim need to show Bunnings my tax invoice. My nearest Bunnings store is a 150km round trip. Not really customer service to ask the customer to get the screw themselves when a so called “premium” product fails so quickly, rather than just post out a screw. That's why they made over $800 million profit (2022). When I am next near a Bunnings, I will be returning the secateurs and getting another brand.

Still love this tool – Back in 2019, I wrote a review. I am still using and loving my Bosch cordless powered Secateurs. One day, my son-in-law used them and loved them so much, I bought him a pair and bought my other daughter a pair - all three families love this tool. For the larger and/or tougher branches, I use my Stihl pruner (mini battery operated tiny chainsaw) which is also a lovely tool to use. I always use the heavy duty setting. Show details

Complete junk – This tool is a disgrace to the Bosch brand. It is designed to fail! The internal mechanism for assisting a cut is a length of string!!! My tool failed after a year of light duty. Definitely not recommended. Show details

Absolute Junk- jammed up in 6 months- used 6 times – As the title says- not fit for purpose. Can't take any grime or dirt and jammed up. Now totally unusable and in the bin. I can't send them back as I tried to un jam them. don't even think of taking them apart. Total rubbish Show details

Worked well 5 times then broke – These battery operated power assist secateurs cut through many branches but struggled if you went over a certain thickness - and that depends on the hardness of the wood too. Then they broke. I used them about 5 times making using them $35 a go. They are repairing them under warranty (2 years) but I don’t hold up much hope that they will last… Read more

more than 5 more times. Rubbish for such an expensive product with such a good brand name. Don’t waste your money. Buy yourself some long handled secateurs giving the same leverage and won’t break so easily. Very very disappointed.
