Think twice before buying Bosch steam oven – My steam oven is still brand new, for the past two years every time I use it it leaks water, Bosch sent a repairman more than once and he couldn’t fix it, now they said my warranty expired. I can’t tell you if I like or dislike the oven because I never used it, I am looking into replacing it with a diff brand. Thank you Bosch!! Show details

Bosch oven with steam – I replaced my old oven with a Bosch with steam oven thinking that it was a good German product, was I wrong! Did it not only breakdown after 4 uses and the service centre is almost non existence, almost 3mos from 1st contacting Bosch service center and until now my oven is still not working. last for few years and even if it dies after few years, you wouldn’t worry. I was given an email for the Headoffice to request a waiver on the service call given that I did all my main kitchen appliances including a warmer drawer, wall oven, compact microwave oven, dishwasher etc and they all are expensive products. More than a week has elapsed but no response from them though I got an acknowledgement email confirming a reply within 48 hrs.

Pathetic service and so as the product.

Brilliant design, works exceptionally well – After many years of using a conventional microwave oven, we decided to check out this Bosch combination microwave oven and it is brilliant. Bosch Combi Oven – I have spent $$$ and bought the Bosch combi oven thinking high of German technology. The microwave stopped working during the extended warranty period. Fixed it. Now the microwave is not working again. It is really frustrating! Hope Bosch will investigate the reason and fix the combi oven. It will be a big help.

oven) and risottos (also nice because you don't have to stand and stir - it basically cooks itself) but then I started googling steam oven recipes and trying fish & chicken recipes. It takes a change in thinking to use steam to cook with but it's worth the effort. The thing I love the most is cleaning it! It's basically drying the cavity with a towel. No greasy splatter and feels much healthier. Cleaning is easy Expensive if you don't make an effort to use it for more than veggies & risottos.

Excellent – Love it as I can put so much in at the same time. Automated functions for timed dishes takes guess work out. Variable steam strengths and duration settings for custom cooking. cleaning. Once you have it on clean function, it does its thing and lets you know what you have to do!! Easy to use, easy to clean. Cooks perfectly. Have used it for desserts as well as vegies and steaming roasts. Very flavourful way to cook (natural flavour for vegies). Some puddings require 2 hours steaming and you can only steam for 1 and a half hours (which is more than enough time for 99.9% of what you do). Bosch would do well to sell a combined convection steam oven so you can brown and steam as you cook (roast meats)...no big deal as once you brown meat just let the steamer cook it for you.

Most used oven – I have used this oven almost every day for over two years and it has never skipped a beat. It is an easy and healthy way to steam vegetables and dumplings, boil eggs and prove dough. I would not be without it now. It is a little diddly to clean but not mores than saucepans. Versatile
