noticeable the lack of power delivered to low quality cookware that we purchase from the supermarket or Harris Scarfe. High quality cookware from Scanpan produces powerful efficient cooking on this Bosch cooktop. Overall it represents good value for money, my only wish would be for a better looking display.

Does the job – Haven’t had any real issues, after a year I have noticed I have to alter temperature when using multiple plates as power drains a little. When using the one plate it’s pretty good.  Show details

DISAPPOINTED. Have been in contact with Bosch re this cooktop ,only to be told that there was nothing they could do unless it was faulty. Bosch said I needed to contact the retailer I bought it from. This cooktop is for inner city living & not for families . Made with four rings that you cannot use without losing power if all four are in use. I definitely would not recommend this cooktop.

disappointment – I read Nicholas Q review below and had a flash back with what bosh engineer said and so one When we purchased this Bosch induction hob they didn't told us about all this technical 'cycle down@ ... , they asked if i cook a lot ,and i say YES , i cook a lot , no take away ,i cook all at home !!! this hob doesn't suits our cooking requirements at all . Beware of the BOSCH PUE611BB1E! – Unbeknown to us when we purchased this Bosch 4 plate induction cook-top that it would not cope with our normal cooking requirements. When using one plate it worked excellently! When using 2 plates it worked OK but only one plate would stay on boost mode. And don't even bother trying to use 3+ plates at once. were all quite perplexed at why the cook-top would 'cycle down' when using 3+ plates. The Bosch technical team told the electrician that was how the cook-top was designed to operate and that the Retailer should have told us it was so designed. It was designed for 'inner-city living' only and not really designed to use as we were planning to. Goodness, if we knew that we would have just purchased a 2 plate induction cook-top!! I read another review on this forum about another person who purchased this unit because they didn't need to up-grade the electrical circuit in their house. Our house (as I suspect most new builds are) is rated to 7.4kw+ so it has plenty of power to run this light weight cook-top. A disappointing lesson to learn but one I openly share with others to save you the same disappointment.

Excellent choice to replace your old ceramic cooktop – It's a rare induction model that is just 4.5KW and fits old ceramic cooktop installations designed for 20A wiring without needing a re-wire. It has Boost mode which boils a litre of water in under a minute and cookware testing mode which tells you which pans and pots fit it and which do not.
