Other than learning how to cook again its a great cooktop. Every new cooktop takes getting used too- this is no different, but its more like a gas unit rather than the glowing red/ electric, and nothing like solid hotplates. I can control temperatures better than gas and it will slow cook very well. I reheat frozen/ leftovers on this rather than microwave. AND cleaning is so easy- just wipe the flat glass sheet (no knobs). Nothing burns into the surface as it doesnt get hot enough (heat is in pan).

May not be suitable for a large family, as it really only has 3 cooking zones but the wattage of the unit meant I didnt have to rewire an older stove power circuit.

Heats cookware rapidly and is easy to control- simple to use (some can be nightmares to operate).

Very pleased so far, and will be interested to see how long the markings for the controls and plate locations last (or if they rub off).

Been using for 6 months, on a near daily basis, and it still looks like new- no marks or issues. (Spilt egg did take a bit of shifting). Really enjoy cooking on it and prepared some of the best steaks Ive ever cooked. I even use it for leftovers (rather than microwave) as it can heat slowly and gently, and I think the taste is better than microwave. I would gladly buy again.

Cooks but.. Buzzing and electric discharge? – This cooktop does its job however two things are not good about it: 1- the buzzing noise of the appliance when on is annoying and a bit concerning. I have tried different pots and pans and it’s all the same, clearly the appliance is the issue. We have requested service via Good Guys but haven’t heard from Bosch yet. 2- I have in many occasions received a small electric discharge when I touch the pan or the spatula.

I was looking forward to enjoying my induction cooktop but so far it’s been not great.

Cooking with unbelievable quality products – We measured up and bought like for like oven and induction cooktop from Harvey Norman. Caringbah. Our assistant Barbara was clued in on what we needed and more importantly the power supply was suited to our house. We got it home and slotted it in and our electrician son wired it in about 20 minutes. We are very pleased and impressed with our new oven and induction cooktop.

Purchased in at Harvey Norman for $1,877.

A big disappointment – This models buttons either don't respond to touches, or they respond very slowly. This makes the whole device effectively unusable, and Bosch (in writing) refuses to acknowledge the unresponsive buttons. Others report the same, as well as easy to scratch surface (which I also experienced). The fan is loud exhibiting a gargling noise, and changes speed constantly. The beep is also loud and unpleasant. I strong advise against purchasing this model.

I have already called that number, and raised the defects in writing, with the response being "We have checked with our management team and there is no manufacturing fault with your model cooktop. So, as previously advised we are unable to assist."
