Can’t believe this is still being pushed by vets. If you love your baby, do not give them any thing with the parasiticide that most of these common tick meds have. Will never get my best friend back and nothing will make this okay.

Bravecto made my dog go blind!! Do not give IT to your dogs!!! – After Taking Bravecto my dog had head tremors, than went blind. The vet who pushed Bravecto did not even consider that it was Bravecto. He encouraged me to give him another pill 3 months later. After having the second dose my dog would have siezures, where his back legs became paralized. Causes Seizures in Dogs! – Switched to Bravecto 6 month spot on treatment for my beautiful Rhodesian Ridgeback. It has caused seizures and he nearly died on us. our guy. Constant expensive skin treatments, only to find more outbreaks in different areas. Can only hope it ends soon, although some say it keeps working past the 3 month point. Wish I could detox him somehow but the vets don't want to admit that it is from Bravecto even though he was never like this before the pill. Never again will I poison my pet. It would be way easier to pat him down thoroughly to check for ticks once a day. I am doing this so many times a day to find new reactions and cut away the fur around the oozing lesions so they dry out and don't become infected. Feel so bad for putting him through this. Omg how can this company still be selling this death pill still on the market they need to be sued and all the owners of their pets be reimbursed the money we had to put out to save a pets and these ceo and owners of this corporation be put to death immediately for causing this to our pets and companion animals.

Dry skin – I gave to 2 of my dogs and after 3 weeks they are itching like they have fleas, except no fleas just really dry skin.

Bravecto is NOT good! – My 7 year old malinois/bovia des flanders, took oral Bravecto. After a couple days she had loss of appetite. Fourth day falling around foaming at the mouth, eyes shifting back and forth, 3 days at vet on IV, antibiotics, Vit K, Platelets dropped to dangerous levels, steriods.....$1200 in and 2 1/2 months later she is still weak and not 100%. I will NEVER use this product again.

My poor Maggie – I give Maggie Bravecto on June 1st now its June 12 and she threw up last night had bloody urine this morning and her back legs were not functioning well. someone would listen to us the people who love their dogs and trust their vet enough to possibly poison them by doing what we think is right!!! suffering. My advise: do not risk it. With collars you can take it off, if your dog reacts badly. With a tablet that lasts for 3 month there is not much you can do.

Wish I had read other reviews first but I trusted my vet – I purchased Bravecto for all three of my dogs. I also had all three dogs in to see the vet prior to giving them the pill for annual checkups (including blood work). showing very little interest in the food and her hair started falling off in clumps on her back. She’s uncomfortable to say the least and she seems to be getting worse. I took her to the vet and they refused to even entertain the idea that it might be a reaction to Bravecto. I would love to know the kickback they must be getting. Will be using something else in 3 months – My dog is 177 lbs. At our last vet visit my vet suggested that we try Brovecto. I was intrigued at the idea of it lasting 3 months so i gave it a go. Due to Niko's size, we had to use 2 large dog doses . Within a week my guy was itching like mad! Although I dont see fleas, he scratching like ive never seen. Its only been a few weeks so i dont know if we can give him anything else.. Im really feeling bad for him and dont know what to do.

BAD reaction to Bravecto!!! – My 5 year old Golden Retriever had an extremely bad reaction to Bravecto. In 2 weeks gained 15 lbs., lost his hair on to big hot spots on his back over his kidneys and was panting all the time because of the discomfort from the major inflammation it caused in his body. I do not recommend for allergy sensitive dogs. :(

Never again will I give this product to any of my 3 dogs. Sure, they don't have fleas or ticks, but after taking it, it made one dog sluggish for days, and another almost died. He went from being a perfectly healthy dog to lethargic, depressed and he completely stopped eating within weeks of administering Bravecto. His abdomen filled with fluid, he became jaundiced, developed mouth sores, his nose started dripping bloody fluid...all of this out of nowhere. He is a bag of bones, from not having an appetite. The Vet ran lab work and his liver enzymes were off the charts. Several rounds of Xrays revealed his liver was extremely enlarged. The only thing that had changed was I administered Bravecto, based on recommendations by my dog's veterinary office. This was the first and ONLY time I will ever use this product.

Over $1000 later, lots of TLC and hand feeding, a whole new home cooked diet, and expensive daily medications that were never needed before, and it's still a touch and go roller coaster ride, but we are nearing the end of the 3 months and he's still here. Just remember, this medication lasts for THREE months, so if it doesn't agree with your dog, it's not going anywhere for awhile, and there are no antidotes if it affects your pet. Please think long and hard before giving this to your furbaby!
